I did my internship at IU Methodist hospital in order to fulfill the requirements of the bachelor's' degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology.My job's main role was to work and observe how to manage medical equipment safely in different locations in the hospital.Methodist hospital is the largest hospital in the state of Indiana, and it has several workshops in the same building. I had the chance to work on a variety of medical equipment in many areas in the hospital such as OR, ICU, PICU, SICU, NICU, CCU, and ER. Also, I worked on documenting work orders and completing safety training
Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the use of the electrical and/or computer components of medical equipment systems as encountered in the degree program’s courses.
