As a Senior Construction Manager, manages the construction coordination of all sites,
ensuring realistic allocation of resources and the execution of all planned logistics for all
number and category of running projects to ensure that these projects are streamlined
and milestones are achieved within time and budget in regards with the Safety and Quality.
Review pertinent documents such as Project Specifications, Standards, IFC Drawings, and
Method Statements.
• Develop a comprehensive Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for civil works in accordance with
Project Specifications and Client Standards.
• Ensure the pre-approval of concrete mix designs before commencing concreting activities,
with test reports adhering to Project Standards and Specification requirements.
• Validate that all materials meet the physical and mechanical criteria outlined in Project
Specifications and Standards.
• Conduct inspections for all civil work activities, encompassing setting out, excavation,
backfilling compaction, rebar works, formworks, concrete pouring, and asphalt work.
• Verify that all inspections align with approved ITP, Project Specifications, Standards, and
IFC Drawings.
• Collaborate with Client representatives for all relevant inspections.
• Confirm the calibration and currency of all equipment and instruments used on-site.
• Generate Inspection reports as specified in the approved Inspection and Test Plan.
• Participate in weekly project quality and progress meetings.
• Initiate or resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for construction activities not in
compliance with Project Specifications, Standards, and IFC drawings.
• Prepare and review the project dossier before submission to the Client.
• Adhere to the highest safety standards throughout all stages of work to prevent incidents
and accidents.
Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Planning and coordinating all on-site construction activities.
Marking out work site in accordance with plans.
Liaising with suppliers, contractors, supervisors and site managers.
Overseeing daily functions of work site including weekend and night shift work.
Preparing and submitting site documentation.
Working with supervisors to ensure safety compliance and the creation of a safe working environment.
Monitoring project costs and variations.
Interpreting architectural and engineering plans, drawings, specifications and designs.
Assisting in the development of construction methodologies and safety documentation.
Overseeing the delivery of materials and equipment.
Bachelor in Civil Engineering
