and Receiving the work permit to ensure work is done safely and with proper precautions.
•Ensure that the safety fire precautions are constantly enforced.
•Ensure hot work requirements are complied with.
•Ensure that healthy work environment is maintained.
•Make sure the electrical lock out tag out system is being followed properly.
•Conduct gas test, maintain log for confined space, and ensure employees are following the confined space entry procedures..
•Conducting seminars, orientation for newly hired employees, researches and studies for the improvement of safety in the project.
•Providing for continue education of employees by disseminating safety publications, instructions, rules, posters, etc.
•Recommending disciplinary action to safety violators who unnecessarily expose themselves or other personnel to potential / physical hazard.
•Initiate immediate stoppage of any operation that could cause death / injury or extensive damage to property and notifying all concerned involved.
•Preparing and submits inspection reports, investigation and studies causes and recommend corrective measures to decrease their frequency and prevent recurrences . Conduct weekly safety toolbox meeting with supervisors-crew.

•Traffic controls for work areas providing specific informative and warning signs, barricades and flagmen to reduce the traffic speed hazards and accidents on the access road. Removing breakdown from the access road. Continues environmental works and good housekeeping in the camps as well as access road parking lots. Observing, Implementing and reporting the safety duties in the job-site to company higher management.
•Meet with representative of clients and other contractors to discuss requirements regarding accident prevention in the jobsite.
•Attended job progress meeting to keep update on the current and future plans for the project and to advise the project management on problems concerning accident preventions.
•Conducting regular safety meeting such as toolbox, shop sub-committee and safety consciousness campaign as per client / company policy.
•Conducting daily routine inspection to site employee. Observe all safety rules and regulations & takes necessary action to obtain compliance with all safety policies.
•Design and installs different kind of safety signs (I.e. informative, directional, precautionary, regulatory and others.)
•Submitting weekly accident statistics and comparative analysis, accomplishments /activities reports & problems encountered for the period to the management/client.
•Participated safety Campaign conducted by SATEC (Posters pasted on all notice boards and all site area like Hand injury Campaign, Confined Space Campaign, Tools and Equipment Campaign, and Fire Prevention Campaign etc.)
•Indoctrinate new entrants in relation to project safety requirements and conducts (15) minutes weekly safety toolbox meeting to emphasize and discuss safety procedures of the on-going project activities.
•Responsible for the implementation of the project safety Program.
