• Working in a heavy engineering environment - Developed experience in many areas including (Heavy Rotating & Stationary Equipment) large slow, medium, high speed diesel engines.
• Troubleshooting Malfunctions and carrying out maintenance to (Heavy Rotating & Stationary Equipment) Engine, Turbines, boilers, pumps, purifiers, oily water separators, condensers, compressors, AC system.
• Conducting Spare parts inventory & Consistently manage inventory parameters to balance business plan attainment and inventory levels.
• Generate and communicate KPI Reports, root causes and implement corrective measures as needed to manage metrics within targets.
• Participate in supply chain initiatives and continuous improvement plans
• Performing as Quality Engineer Responsible for Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns.
• Preparing and monitoring the operation of Diesel & Turbine Propulsion Machinery, Boilers etc...
• Safety Tasks such as taking charge of SAR (Search and Rescue) drill.
• Experience of working with multi‐national, multi‐skilled crews including British, Filipino and Russian.
• Supervising engineers’, ratings’ and teams’ daily working plans / routines and watch rotas.
• Plan and co‐ordinate daily maintenance and repair activities as required.
• Guiding and training subordinate Cadet Engineers and Fourth Engineers.
Second Engineer is a one rank below Chief Engineer.
