Position: RIGGING AND LIFTING SPECIALIST
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: ➢ Responsible of all area works going on a performing inspection of all Cranes, Boom Truck, Man lift, Forklift, Tele-Handler, Excavator and other heavy machines inspection of under hook material control of the lift studies which prepared by subcontractors.
➢ Attending to equipment lifting's rig transportation, safety meeting tool box talking.
➢ Study the locations before lifting. check lifting study/ method of statement, (JSA) Job Safety analysis plane and lifting details in standard format, Selection of Crane for each lift with proper Safety Factor
➢ Lifting hazard identification and control. Ensure competent persons for lifting & slinging activities. Provide safety advice and guidance to line management
➢ Liaises with concerned personnel (client, company, subcontractors) on project scope, execution and progress Carry out a review of Method Statements, Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis plan produced by the Lifting Subcontractors.
➢ Responsible for the assessment of heavy/critical lifting operations to ensure that planning, selection of cranes and lifting equipment and accessories, instruction and supervision as necessary is in place to enable the lifting task to be safely executed.
➢ Works in line with Company HSE Policy, ensures Sub Contractors subordinates are aware of, and comply with HSE procedures, rules and regulations for Rigging / Lifting activities
➢ Monitor the lifting operations to ensure that they are being carried out in accordance with approved Rigging Study.
➢ Frequent contact with site team leaders and supervisor in exchanging information and developing maintaining lifting equipment inspection maintenance and operating system.
➢ Coordinate with clients of schedule and inspection, testing and certification of their equipments.
➢ Attain training for Mobile crane Operators, Tele-Handler Operators, Man-lift oprators, Hiab Operators, forklift Operators JCB Operators And Rigging & slinging certification curse by Bureau Veritas.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: ➢ Monitory tool box. Study the location before lifting.
➢ Check a rigging plan to perform any working platform.
➢ Check the crane area is prepares adequately, including access road, crane assembly space, firm and level ground.
➢ Check the levels of a crane before any lifting operation are undertaken.
