Responsible for the full spectrum of Financial Management, Supply Chain Management, Revenue Management and Information Management, strategically and the full operational activities.

The Finance staff complement are:2x deputy directors, 6x assistant directors, 18x supervisors and over 200 clerical staff.
Chairman of various committees including Finance Exco, Tender committee, Staff performance and evaluation, Panel interviewing, Vetting and cost containment committees.
Presentations to executives, senior managers and other companies including from overseas.Training, development and performance evaluation of staff.
Implemented Cost Centre Accounting System and Management.
My working career at SSF evolved over an extended period, progressing through a varied spectrum of managerial responsibilities and experiences.Budgeting, short and longterm, variance analysis, volume /price sensitivity analysis/variances, expenditure projections/revenue forecasting, monthly, quarterly and year end reporting, interdivisional/company reconciliations, general ledger
and effective internal control.Application of accounting practices and principles.Staff training, development and performance evaluation.Interacting with senior managers including from other oil companies.Make presentations of financial performace and, strategic planning
Price costing of building materials, hardware products and working tools.Maintain computerised costing system.Stock take and stock pricing.Co ordination across various branches
Responsibilities includes:
-debtors control system of sales to government departments
-shipping charges in terms of international shipping tariffs
-export sales valuations i.e. raising charges onto export countries via bank letter of credit
-sales values reporting to the international Head Office in London
-purchases valuation i.e. reconciling purchases, matching documents for payments and ledger entries
-inter oil company loan/borrow system:liase with other oil companies, reconciling volume movements and handling charges
