Logistics Manager Responsibilities :

• Manage supply operations including purchasing, financial reporting, inventory, organization, and logistics.
• Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
• Establish performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
• Identify optimal shipment and transportation and Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly.
• Negotiate prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.
• Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
• Suggest solutions for process improvements.

Project Civil Engineer

Responsibilities :
- Manage planning and execution of all civil construction works at assigned sites to deliver all assignments on time, within budget
as per quality and safety standards.
- Monitor and assure that all construction works are executed adhering to the final issued for construction drawings and project
specifications.
- Coordinate with foremen, follow up ongoing day-to-day jobs, monitoring and ensuring progress as per the Master Program.
- Develop work plans for the site, mobilize resources including manpower, plant, materials and site facilities needed to deliver
agreed milestones.
- Verify plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations, monitor workmanship and material utilization and ensure
efficient implementation of project quality plans.
- Review completed work, prepare and submit inspection requests and INR and coordinate with QC engineers to ensure
achievement of quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with schedule, scope and specification requirements and
enable smooth execution of all planned jobs.
- Collaborate with project team members and other stakeholders to resolve all emerging technical and other issues at the site.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable company policies and procedures, quality, safety and health rules and
regulations at site.
- Supervise and provide required training and guidance to junior engineers and trainees.
Key Jobs Executed
- Excavating, laying and backfilling of proposed utilities; building of concrete and reinforced concrete manholes and chambers for
utilities
- Road pavement from excavation through backfilling and filling of sub-base and base course, asphalt laying of wearing course to
road marking and installation of signage and landscaping.
- Micro-tunneling works: supervision of subcontractor for preparation, arranging materials and scheduling micro-tunneling works;
monitoring completion of specified tests and compliance with safety rules for all works in micro-tunnel shafts; preparation of
shafts for manhole construction; erection of scaffolding inside shafts; building of reinforced concrete manhole bases and walls
inside shafts and backfilling of shafts

Projects
• Rectification Works at Toyota Center, Doha: removal of existing and installation of new waterproofing system in mezzanine roof and first floor along with concrete and steel repairs in the basement and painting of the whole basement
• Supply and Installation of Aluminium works at Qatar University: new aluminium partitions, soundproof partitions, cabinets, stainless steel handrails, glasses and other items

- Support in preparation of daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual technical reports for
Recycled Concrete Aggregates, RCA, Department.
- Conduct project site visit to monitor the project progress and report to the
management for any project risks and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating
procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and
consistent manner.
- Supervise the RCA foremen for day activities.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties relevant to the role as assigned by the Head of RCA
as per business requirements.

• As a trainee participated in works at Doha Convention Center and Tower as part of practical training during studies at the Qatar University; works included waterproofing, fixing of rebar steel & pouring of concrete for slabs.

• Participated in a field survey for a road network in Qatar

• Worked on a shares project for Al Rayan Bank
