I received Department Research Award, Department of Computer Science, University of Calgary – granted to outstanding students based on research and academic achievements. I received the Teaching Assistant Excellence Award when teaching Machinery II course and nominated as leader TA since winter 2015 due to my distinguished skills and extensive knowledge in the course material. • Thesis: “Flexible and Scalable Routing Approach for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks by Function Approximation of Q-Learning” o Enhancing AODV routing protocol by integrating intelligent process for evaluating different routing measures. o Providing network nodes with a smart soft-sensors and a brief network overview using machine learning. o New efficient and scalable algorithm that can be modified to fit given standards and adapt to a dynamic topology. o All simulations done under Java environment: Java in Simulation Time (JiST/SWANs). • Relevant Courses: o ‘A+’ in Design and Analysis Algorithms. o ‘A’ in Current Trend in Database Technology, Database Management Systems, Principles of Software Development, Recommendation Systems; Auditing: Graph Theory, Communication Networks.
