Main Responsibilities
1- good knowledge in Core CS, A, Gb and Iu_CS and Iu_PS and 4G (SGs, S10, X2, S1, Paif) interfaces .
2-Network Performance Management.
3-Good Knowledge in core network dimensioning, planning, performance monitoring and optimization.
4-Good knowledge on Core, 2G/3G signalling and protocol layers (Iu, A, MAP, CAP, INAP, ISUP...).
5-A strong knowledge in one or many of the following vendors Ericsson/Huawei, parameters and equipment.
6-Handling on call and duty activities.
7-Performing daily, weekly and monthly health checks.
8-Creating complete SS7 (signaling systems) configurations.
9-Following up the correction actions taken that are related to past problems handling.
10-Performing tasks to improve the quality.
11-Using protocol analyzers and extract the protocol traces (ISUP, MAP, INAP and BSSAP).
12-Performing day to day operation activities.
13-Initiating daily, weekly and monthly measurement reports.
14-Responsible for 2nd level intervention (support for maintenance and operation teams) in major network modifications and interventions 24/7.
15-Handling customer and VIP complaints 24/7.
16-Responsible for the complete acceptance for the new projects.
17-Responsible for any new NSS related new project (creation, support and acceptance).
18-Able to work on and deal with several interfaces and vendors equipments.
19-Basic skills in radio performance optimization.
