Follow up with external auditors for periodic and interim audit
•Prepare a Risk based Strategic and Annual Audit Plan.
•Conduct Financial, Operational and Compliance audit activities.
•Prepare audit engagement plans for each activity in the Company.
•Report functionally to the Audit Committee and administratively to the CEO.
•Conduct Audit engagements and analyse data to make sure that each activity complies with the Company’s policies, procedures and laws.
•Discuss Audit reports with the executive management and suggest recommendations to enhance controls.
•Provide the Audit Committee with quarterly audit reports about the Internal Audit Functions and Activities, and discussing it in the quarterly Audit Committee meetings.
•Follow up the Audit Committee’s and Board of Director’s recommendations.
•Attend the Weekly Executive Committee meetings.
•Applied unified Internal Audit Methodologies with the Gulf Insurance Group Internal Audit departments, in addition of attending and participating in Group Internal Audit conferences.
•I have the responsibilities of the secretary of the Audit Committee.
•Conduct market competition research and identify major indicators for the Insurance Sector.
•Comparing actual figures with budgeted financial statements.
•Prepare engagement letters.
•Hold meetings with the staff of the departments which will be audited in order to collect data and understand the department procedure.
•Study and analyze the data which was gathered to Identify control weaknesses.
•Compare the business flow operations with the procedure manual which was approved by the board of directors in order to identify non-compliant incidents.
•Conduct Financial, Operational and Compliance audit activities.
•Prepare the draft audit report for each audited department to be reviewed and approved by the Internal Audit Manager.
•Provide recommendations about the control weaknesses and discuss it with the concerned parties.
•Prepare some studies regarding Insurance business like combined loss ratios for some clients, Average claims costs.
