Duties and Responsibilities included :
Remote monitoring of the basic needs/livelihood component data:
-Ensure that partners comply with the basic needs procedure.
•-Ensure that partners deliver on time the data required in the new procedure and that the data are presented in the correct forms.
•-Ensure the written translation from Arabic to English of all the documents received from partners.
•-Provide analysis of the monthly data to the Livelihood Technical Advisor and Programs Coordinator.
•-Participate in basic needs/livelihood proposal design.
•-Contribute to the development and implementation of trainings for partners.
• Provision of ‘Technical support:
•-Contribute to develop needs assessment, situation analysis and impact evaluation tools.
•-Provide on-time feedback & support to the basic needs/livelihood issues faced and refer them to the program coordinator and livelihood technical advisor.
•-In case of breach of the basic needs component procedure, report to Livelihood Technical Advisor and to the Program Coordinator and develop recommendation to adjust the issue.
•-Assess the difficulties and needs for a proper implementation of basic needs/livelihood component and identify specific training needs and transfer to Livelihood Technical Advisor and Program coordinator.
• Monitoring of the quality of basic needs/livelihood activities:
•-Ensure weekly discussions and obtain information about any issue faced by partners field team in the implementation of the activities.
•-Report on these issues to the Livelihood Technical Advisor and suggest potential improvements.
•Reporting and liaison :
•-Perform weekly Skype meetings with partners
•-Draft minutes of each meeting and send to Livelihood Technical Advisor and Program Coordinator
•-Report of some case studies discussed with the partners’ basic needs field staff.
•-Collect information linked to livelihood conditions of beneficiaries.
•-Acting as a Basic Need Data Management Officer.
•Finance & Auditing
•-Validating the vouchers received from the Partners after rechecking it with what the partners sent to the finance department from cash book and vouchers and what the partners reported from documents to Livelihood Support Officer
included :
•Programme Implementation Support:
- Assist in the organization and implementation of awareness sessions for children, adolescents, parents and communities.
- Responsible for implementing ALP (Accelerated Learning Programme) and RC (Remedial Class) activities, and any other Education activities under the Supervision of the Education Officer andprovide technical support for Partners Staff as needed.
-With the Education in Emergencies team, finalize operational work plans, understand clear targets and activity plans per school, remedial class and accelerated Learning Programme.
-Provide Hygiene sessions for Partners staff and assist in organizing and managing hygiene sessions for parents of the children.
-Have the ability to launch educational projects within local communities living in Southern areas as i did these tasks with save the children international and through their local Partners Nabaa.
•Monitoring and Evaluation:
-Having the skills of Monitor educational projects based on the project cycle managements allow me to have more advanced role within the job i got during the previous period.
-Participate in Education-specific monitoring and evaluating project activities in Remedial Classes and Accelerated Learning
Programmes for children
-Regularly visit project sites to ensure that implementing partners and teachers are appropriately supported
-Produce timely reports for internal use on the ongoing activities of the project and schools
•Child Protection:
-Ensure a strict adherence to the principles of Child Protection at all times, including respect for confidentiality and a child centered approach and to act in the best interests of the child
•Logistician:
- Prepare supplies and needed material for Saida office including procurement requests, purchasing and office refurbishment

•Trainer for life skills trainings for youth.
•Contributed to the registration and verification of beneficiaries by collecting appropriate data and communicating to beneficiaries SC’s vulnerability selection criteria
•Contributed to the monitoring and evaluation of activities by interviewing and collecting appropriate data from selected beneficiaries
•Conducted household interviews and focus group discussions to collect information interviewing and analysis
•Acted as a liaison between communities and the Save the Children office; maintained good relationships with beneficiariesand local leaders/authorities/Municipalities; and report any identified issues to the FSL Officer

•Conducted trainings and sensitization sessions for traders, beneficiaries and other stakeholders
•Making a training for FSL (food Security and Livelihood) new staff in Bekaa and Kobbayat Branches
•Organised Quotations and Bids for Fuel and NFI (clothes and blankets) for FSL Sector in Kobbayat branch
•Interacted with Syrian refugees on a regular basis; and sensitively listened to their needs
•In collabortion with the Ministry of Social Affairs participated in the identificationand registeration the most vulnerable lebanese families
•Participating with the child protection team in identifying locations for Community /Youth centers, and sharing in
psychosocial activities with children
