I have worked in At Brandix Pvt Ltd as Assistant Accountant. I was managing and overseeing the company’s financial operations and ensuring adherence to accounting principles. My responsibilities encompassed daily accounting tasks including recording journal entries in the accounting system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and overseeing the setup and closure of the full books of accounts. I also implemented and monitored internal financial controls to enhance the integrity and efficiency of financial processes. A significant part of my role involved preparing and managing financial documents such as invoices, receipts, payments and general ledger entries, while also maintaining detailed records of petty cash transactions. I ensured accurate reconciliation of client accounts receivable, vendor accounts payable, bank statements, credit cards, and petty cash ledgers. Additionally, I prepared and analyzed financial statements in compliance with International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

I managed accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) along with payroll administration, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor payments through cash, checks and bank transfers. My role also included preparing stock reports for annual audits, assisting in budgeting and forecasting and managing fixed assets registers and related schedules, including loans and leases. Furthermore, I contributed to pricing strategies through detailed margin and mark-up analyses.
Supporting the company’s annual audit was another critical aspect of my role, where I collaborated closely with auditors to provide accurate financial data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
