Studying Tender Documents like BOQ, Specification, Drawings &
Appendix to make the proper Estimation work.
• Study the scope of work in the tender documents like Specification,
Drawing & BOQ then collect all the missing contracting information and
send RFI (Query) to the client to get the Pre-bid clarification.
• Make the Site Visit & Survey if mandatory in Tender Requirements.
• Quantity Take off from drawings and preparing BOQ for required works.
• Separating the inquiry package with BOQ, Specification & Drawings.
• Sending RFQ to the Supplier/Subcontractor and follow up.
• Providing Clarification to technical & commercial queries by
Supplier/Vendors.
• Preparing Tracing list & keep follow up with suppliers/Vendors to avoid
delays.
• Making Technical & Commercial Evaluation of quotation & preparing the
comparison Sheet.
• Price negotiation with Supplier.
• Attending Pre-Bid, Mid Tender meeting Post Tender Clarification
Meetings.
• Making the Price Breakdown for MEP Works.
• Pricing the Material & Labor cost of each BOQ item by using the
supplier/vendor Quotation are in line with tender and project
specification.
• Making Cost Summary.
• Ensure that the Cost Estimate is ready before Bid Closing Date (BCD) as
per Tender Plan.
