- Implementing all preventive and corrective maintenance activities related to all electrical
equipment.
- Dealing with electrical wiring, and function diagram.
- Dealing with Computerized maintenance management system CMMS (Infor10 EAM) for
reporting, history, Stoke, Purchasing.
- Dealing with (PTW) database software for the work permits.
- Responsible for purchasing orders, technical studies and tenders, and issuing the technical
offers analysis.
- Responsible for budget and spare parts.
- Responsible for technical reports and root cause analysis RCA.
- Dealing with High voltage switchgear 230KV (GIS), control circuits, CT's and VT's of the high-
voltage lines.
- Dealing with bus-bar's protections (Distance protection, differential protection, under
voltage, Bus-bar breaker failure …etc).
- Dealing with synchronous generators up to 460 MVA and Diesel generator up to 1 MW and
execute all preventive and corrective maintenance of all electrical and control circuits.
Dealing with power transformers with range up to 420 MVA.
- Dealing and testing all protections relays of generator and transformer, electrical and
mechanical protections.
- Making dissolved gas analysis (DGA) on the transformer's oil.
- Dealing with Medium voltage switchgear 6.6 KV, type SF6 and carrying out all electrical and
mechanical tests on the switchgear and the control circuit.
- Testing all digital multifunction protection relays using (Sverker 760 & PTR 233)relay test unit
- Dealing with low voltage 400 V switchboards, and carrying out all electrical and mechanical
preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Implementing all preventive and corrective maintenance for UPS and Batteries (Acidic,
Alkaline and Dry).
- Dealing and maintaining all kind of motors (Induction & DC) with range up to 1MW.
- Dealing with AC drives and soft starter.
- Maintaining all kinds of solenoids and valves.
- Dealing with 10-55 ton hoist cranes, control and power circuits.
- Making daily reports for the daily job orders.
*Achievements:
- Upgrading the HMI system and the database for 230KV GIS, from SPACE 2000 system to DS
Agile system.
- Totally repairing of two faulty HV power transformers (460 MVA) with ABB Spain and GE.
- Installing new firefighting system FM200 (heat detectors, smoke detectors, manual release
points, control panels and FM200 gas cylindrical)

- Supervise the day-to-day operation and execution of periodical preventive and corrective
maintenance activities related to electrical equipment.
- Dealing with medium voltage (11 KV, 2200 V) switchgear and carrying out all periodical
preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on it.
- Dealing with low voltage (400 V) switchboard and carrying out all periodical preventive
maintenance and corrective maintenance on the control circuits.
- Dealing and with all kind of motors such as (Synchronous, Induction and DC) with wide range
of power up to 3.5 MW.
- Dealing with transformers and generators (Synchronous, Diesel) up to 15 MW.
- Dealing with UPS and Battery (Acidic, Alkaline).
- Responsible for purchasing orders, technical studies and tenders.
- Planning required upgrade for electrical systems to achieve production quality and cost
minimizing.
- Delivery daily reports and responsible for the administrative work in the Dept.
- Leading a team of eight electrical technicians.
- Achievements:
- Installing and commissioning 3MW synchronous motor and its control and excitation system.
- Responsible for disassembling and assembling the rotor and the exciter of synchronous
generator (15MW) and supervising of rewinding it at ABB work shop.
