• Lead the technical review of all the Engineering works for the infrastructure and buildings services mega project, such construction documents as material submittal, shop drawings, method statement, pre-qualifications, tender clarifications, and testing & commissioning, as well as design review of all design-built packages by the contractor in compliance with the design requirements, project specifications and local authority regulations.
• Managing the technical review of the Utilities & Infrastructure for (66KV, 11KV& 415V) networks, MEP requirements for Taxiway and Stands including all ground services equipment (AGL lighting, GPU, PCA), served by Fuel Farm for Jet A1 Fuel including (Fuel Tanks, Hydrant pumps, Refueller, Wash Bay, …etc.), in additions to buildings services including substations.
• Managing the site supervision team from the project kick-off till handing over process, achieving the Facility Management and End users’ requirements & satisfaction.
• Tracking construction completions during all project stages, targeting for early start and early finish monitoring rate of progress and helping in proposed recovery plans for slippages, develop short-term milestones.
• Developing the testing and commissioning plans, strategy and activities during the construction and T&C program for all MEP services: HVAC, Fire Fighting and Plumbing, Electrical & Extra Low Voltage systems, monitoring and controlling all testing and commissioning stages as the followings:
Stage 1: Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
Stage 2: Pre-Commissioning.
Stage 3: Standalone Systems Testing.
Stage 4: Integration with the Other Systems.
Stage 5: Performance Test.

• Track all Authority requirements and approvals, verify compliance, manage documents uploading process for Authority Inspections, manage site preparation and attend authority inspections for successful approvals.

• Involved in the full life cycle of projects for engineering works and site supervision till the testing & commissions and handing over process, leading the MEP site team, managing communications with PMC, Client, Facility management and End-user.
• Lead reviewer of all construction documents: material submittal, shop drawings, method statement, pre-qualifications and testing & commissioning as well including MEP materials and instruments, test report, pre-testing and testing procedures, commissioning procedures in compliance with the design requirements, project specifications and local authority regulations.
• Review & approve the third-party commissioning agencies intended for contractor inspections.
• Lead all authority approvals and inspections such as Kahramaa, Ashghal, Ooredoo, civil defence and MOI security system Dept. upon obtaining the official approvals.
• Following up with the contractor to expedite the substantial completion certificates and release the completion certificate by the local authority & municipality (MME).
• Managing the proper handing over procedures including but not limited to: As-Built drawings, Asset trackers, Operation & maintenance manuals, attic stock/spare parts, warranty, training of the facility management team and Project dossier.
• Preparing a strategy for deferred testing plans and outstanding works, monitoring snagging & de-snagging completions and managing the final project dossier and project CLOSE OUT during the occupation stage.

Accomplishments:

• Mixed Use: High-rise buildings in Lusail Area, SEEF Lusail Development (D1, D2, D3 & D4) (Lusail)

for the site supervision team of all electrical low
voltage (LV) and extra low voltage (ELV) systems including but not limited to
the followings: -
- Low voltage distribution networks including the main switchboard (MDB),
standby power and emergency generation systems, sub-main low voltage
distribution boards.
- Bus bar trunking system & low voltage cables for the power system network
distribution including review of the voltage drop and short circuit calculations.
- Motor control centers for mechanical applications such as water pumping
stations, sewage pumping stations, chilled water pumping stations and
mechanical ventilations.
- Grounding system including the main network for the substation and the clean
earth network the telecommunications or medical applications.
- Lightning protection system for high rise buildings and buildings exposed to
strikes using the American preventor air terminal & the copper mesh air
termination based on the British standards.
- Emergency lighting & Exit lights operated by central battery system or remote
back up battery kits matching with the NFPA 101 requirements & QCDD
regulations in Qatar.
- Uninterrupted power supply (UPS) for the data centers, control rooms &
essential loads.
- Home Automation system for switching/dimming control of lighting, A/C
control, Blind control, etc.
- Fire Alarm and voice evacuation system matching with NFPA 72 requirements
& Qatar civil defense (QCD) regulations in Qatar.
- Telecommunication/structured cabling system in according to the
requirements of the service provider (Ooredoo).
- Security systems including CCTV system for indoor and outdoor surveillances
complying with the regulations of MOI.SSD in Qatar, also access control &
intrusion system as well as the gate barrier system for the vehicle control.
- Extra low voltage systems such as but not limited to the followings: -
Public Address & background music system, Audio video Intercom
system, SMATV/IPTV system, CO system & BMS system.
* Reviewing the shop drawing and materials transmittals in complying with the
design drawings, project specifications and local regulations.

- Medium voltage distribution network including protection and measuring
devices and system analysis.
- Low voltage distribution network including the Substations, Prime Power and
Emergency Generation Systems details.
- Infra-Structure Medium and Low voltage distribution Feeders including the
Direct Buried & Duct Bank underground cables, Manhole details, Feeder
Pillars and Street Lighting.
- Low voltage power riser diagram using Bus bar Trunking system (in high rise
buildings) or Low Voltage Cables including Bus bar Trunking/Cables Sizes &
voltage drop calculations.
- Grounding system for Power Substations, Hospitals, Hotels, Museums, also
design of Lightning protection system for high rise buildings and buildings
exposed to strikes
- Distribution Panel Boards design including the enclosure size, circuit breakers
size, total demand load calculations, phase balance, selectivity study and
short circuits calculations (Switch Board Details)
- Lighting and Power distribution layouts and lighting calculations using
(DIALux) software and according to the IES & CIBSE.
- Sizing and distribution of the UPS System for essential loads and Central
Battery System for emergency lighting.
- Reviewing the materials submittals and workshop drawings for the
supervised projects.
- Preparing the Concept and Schematic design reports for all Electrical
systems.
- Preparing the Bill of Quantities (B.O.Q) and Cost Estimate for the tender
document.

- Testing all wires/cables prior to the termination into the panel boards.
- Erecting all kinds of kitchen equipment with all MEP hock-up connections and terminations.

Accomplishments:
• Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for new kitchen equipment related to Hot kitchen, cold kitchen, Patisserie, coffee area, Washing area, …etc. for the new Dining building at National Defense Council (NDC).
