Operating on Oracle system to Prepares and issues purchase orders and order modifications.
•Creating purchase requests; processes and completes purchase orders; determines prices from available vendors which meet cost and quality guidelines; places orders; verifies receipt of purchase.
•Maintaining approved supplier/vendor database. Monitors supplier/vendor performance through the administration of supplier/vendor measurement programs; makes recommendations to managers for additions to and deletions from the supplier/vendor database as appropriate.
•Negotiating with suppliers to obtain products at the best quantity and cost in order to ensure end-users needs are met; negotiates delivery, terms and conditions, and pricing.
•Coordinates with accounts payable to resolve any credit holds or pricing problems in order to ensure prompt payment and avoid delays to end user; coordinates with receiving departments to resolve all receipt problems promptly so as to not cause any delay to end users.
•Maintaining communication with suppliers during course of procurement action in order to ensure timely delivery in compliance with the requirements of the procurement document.
•Interfaces with distribution staff in the selection of cost-effective shipping sources; identifies most efficient transportation needs.
•Coordinating the procurement of materials, products/services and equipment necessary for the operation of the business unit or assigned projects. Ensures suppliers/vendors adherence to industry standards, technical quality standards, delivery schedules and other corporate/business unit driven expectations.
•Responsible for Egyptian Steel and Jushi Projects for all the logistical operations.
•Following up with the finance team the needed payments for the suppliers as per the payment term for each supplier.
•Monitoring and supervise all logistical operations with our freight forwarders to keep the agreed clearance lead time.
•Revising all the shipments documents from origin till destination.
•Cooperating with regulatory team by checking the registration of the medical items in order to minimize the lead time of the MOH approvals.

•Followed up with forwarders to release shipments from air/ ocean ports within one day, which is in contrast to the normal undertaking of such procedures that take from 3- 4 days.
•Have been deployed to several ports across the country, including Port Saed east and west port, Damietta, Sokhna and Alexandria, to push blockers to facilitate shipments release.
•Established solid contact with customs across the ports for futuristic reliability and feasibility.
•Worked under tight deadlines to avoid blocking the production line through communicating with forwarders and customs
