• Implementing and enforcing company safety program which uses the EM-385-1-1 Safety and Health Requirements Manual for its guidelines.
• Training and supervising eight safety supervisors, the company employed some of whom and some were employed by subcontractor on construction site.
• Preparing daily safety reports to be used by the U S Army Corps of Engineers in their evaluation of the company’s safety program.
• Conducting initial safety indoctrination and continued safety training (safety tool box meetings) for all workers on site.
• Disciplining safety violators.
• Inspecting any and all construction equipment to be used prior to entering the site ground.
• Prepare Activity Hazard Analyses.
• Establishing minimum requirements for number of safety supervisors needed all areas of project.
• Interviewing and making hiring decision for the company regarding safety supervisors.
