Job Duties :
ADMIN TASKS:
o Installing and maintaining e-terra browser on all workstations.
o Management of reports (generation of new reports, modifying existing
reports) using crystal report.
o Providing Full system administration and technical support
o Performing backup and restore
o Managing and maintaining e_terra archive on historical server
o Monitoring and preparing daily reports about the whole system.
o Management of archiving system using IBM Tivoli storage management
software.
SCADA TASKS:
o Data collection for different network components.
o Database modeling using Alstom database builder (DBB).
o Performing SCADA Database customization for (SUBTOP, RTUTOP,
etc).
o Building all SCADA displays by using FG builder.
o Performing End To End Test.
o Performing Database online sequence (DBSQ).
o Preparing the Databases that will be loaded in the S900 Platform Rut's and
Harris Rut's.
o ALARM application customization.
o PERMIT customization.
o Integrating / testing Remote control, Historical data recording, sequence
switching, user calculation, tagging and RTU communication.
Performing E-TERRA TASKS:
o All SCADA activities maintenance.
o Works on E-TERRA HABITAT applications.
o Work on AREVA EMP2.3 product including all SCADA tools and
activities.
o Works on E-TERRA control applications.

Special mission about DMS:
I was assigned by the ministry of electricity to make an assessment and
evaluation of Tanta Distribution Control Center (DMS) project in the period
from May 2012 to June 2013. And study of errors in the system and the
efficiency and benefit from it and whether the achievement of its purpose or
not which includes evaluation for the following parts:
1 - GIS System and its integration with DMS.
2 - System communication includes (Radio Frequency - DLC - CDC).
3 - Distribution Transformers (Kiosks).
4 - Historical Data Collection and Storage.
5 - Tele-Control tasks.
6 - Scada Tasks.
7 - Reports.
8 - Power system application for study.
