I assist with the planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, modelling and reporting of the total retail business.
I also assist in the development of the 3‑year strategic business plan and forecast as well as monitoring the ongoing performance and business profitability against plans to enable direction or corrective action to optimize ongoing business performance.
My responsibilities also include:
- Modelling and providing previous, current and forecasted financial information to assist and enable Brand, Operations and Support Function Management to review performance and build Business plans that optimize trading patterns.
- Review budget against actual trading performance every period.
- Ensure timely and accurate production of standard and customized financial reports for the business.
Part of the Mergers & Acquisitions team where I am responsible for performing business valuation using valuation methods such as DCF and preparation of investment profiles for companies being sold. Other responsibilities include financial statement analysis, feasibility studies and market research.
Team leader under Corporate Credit and International Banking Division. Responsibilities include issuing credit facilities such as Letters of Credit, Letters of Guarantees and Short-term loans to corporate clients both locally and abroad. Responsibilities include checking clients’ financial statements to see whether they are within limit before approval of their facilities, calculation of interest and commission using LIBOR/KIBOR rates and settlement of loan principals, reporting financial statements and statistics to Central Bank and liaising between clients and management, and maintaining synergy within our team.
Financially analyzed small and medium business projects, produce cost/profit analysis reports, feasibility studies and provide financial consultation for clients and present aforementioned reports and studies to them. Responsibilities also include preparation of monthly financial statements and financial ratios for the company.
