Inspect the executed works against the project specifications, approved shop drawing,
method of statement and Quality control standard procedures.
_Ensure the establishment of quality procedures including time limits for inspection, sampling
and testing of works and other QA/QC requirements.
_Oversee and manage quality assessment of materials through regular and rigid laboratory
tests.
_Ensure specific quality standards are constantly met at all levels of construction projects.
In consultation with the project staff, review technical specifications and recommend standard
construction specifications for all items of works for their effective use in projects’ works.
_Review all standard test forms to be used during laboratory tests, QA testing schedules and
procedures and evaluate results as appropriate.
_Review contractor practices and conventional methodologies and make recommendations
where remedial action is required.
_Work with project engineers and design consultants for establishing procedures with time limits
for the inspection, sampling and testing of works and all other QA/QC requirements.
_ Ensure all the delivered materials match with approved material submittals as well as the
project specifications.
_Inspect corrected no conformances and close out internal Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) or
those issued by the Engineer/Consultant.
_Participate in the preparation of the project method of statement, according to the project
Quality Plan.
_Coordinate with the client's inspection team for final & approved inspections
_Ensure work is executed in accordance with the approved shop drawings, method statement
and project specification.
_Initiate the NCR for any discrepancies or nonconformance activities for following up and
submit it to the Quality Control Manager.
_Coordinate with the Site/Section Engineers to arrange daily inspection program.
