Projects Manager / Client Representative: Handling internal & external construction projects portfolio of organization, incl. management of all project phases from design concept to execution supervision, as well as managing consultants, contractors and vendors.
Head of Department: Heading department in charge of engineering and facilities management in charge of 17 branches of organization. Developing policies, processes and procedures and establishing systems to streamline daily operations.

Key Construction Projects:
Residential Villages - Thailand, Indonesia, Uganda, Burkina Faso - AED 50 Million: Led a team to develop the project brief and detailed cost estimation of four residential villages for poor families across four counties. Headed negotiations with bank to secure funding for the projects.
Interior refurbishment of company’s HQ - In charge of managing all design phases of the refurbishment and fit-out of the organization’s headquarters in Dubai, including management of the consultants and contractors. In charge of all project phases from contract negotiations to tendering and execution supervision.

Overseeing the timely completion of a key project for the organization. Meet and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders to set expectations, determine requirements and monitor scope and budget, drafting formal updates and communications, and responding to inquiries. Assisted in the Development of technical sketches, identifying budgetary requirements and establishing schedules for each stage. Coordinate team participation, monitoring groups of architects, civil and structural engineers and subcontractors throughout construction, and reporting on progress and schedules to upper management. Enforce compliance with building codes and government regulations, meeting with officials and overseeing audits and inspections.

Marsa Al Seef - Dubai, UAE - AED 2 Billion: Coordinate all operations between the Construction Team, Technical Team and Planning Team on a hospitality and retail project, actively participating in team meetings as a representative of the Senior Project Manager. Devised trackers and programs to monitor site progress, planning strategies to meet strict schedules and holding workshops to resolve technical and logistical issues. Took charge of the project handover to the client (MERAAS and JUMEIRAH), overseeing quality assurance inspections and resolving final issues with the consultant team and client as the Acting Package Manager.
Co-founded a small design studio to complete several independent projects, directing elements of the design and production process, overseeing daily office activities, preparing and negotiating contracts, developing and reviewing building plans, and providing leadership and oversight for each stage to ensure adherence to client expectations, scheduling and budgets.

Smart Office - Cairo, Egypt - Enhanced a commercial workplace with automation solutions, resolving common office challenges and increasing efficiency and safety.
Directed quality assurance for the firm, performing checks and enforcing compliance with the architectural design. Maintained strict adherence to disciplines, coordinating work and collating snag lists to adhere to timelines and construction plans. Monitored tasks to ensure fire strategy was met.

Al-Wagan Hospital - Abu Dhabi, UAE - AED 300 Million: Led the final execution stage and handover to client of an 11-structure hospital to update technology and enhance mechanical aspects.
Guided teams in the construction of several projects, liaising with clients and upper management to create and monitor schedules, selecting materials and resources to complete each stage, determining necessary tasks to achieve progression goals, and developing strategies to ensure completion on-time and under-budget. Selected as Acting Deputy Project Manager to supervise subconsultants, oversee contractors and head project team meetings. Prepared all on-site documentation, monitoring and reporting on progress and enforcing regulation compliance for each stage.

World Trade Center - Abu Dhabi, UAE: Monitored and managed contractors to ensure compliance with architectural designs.
Provided architectural designs, advice and leadership to multiple construction projects, supervising global sites and collaborating with government officials for compliance during the development and restoration of buildings. Coordinated activities of contractors and subcontractors to complete each stage on schedule.

Shukri Salem Villa Complex - Dubai, UAE: Supervised the daily activities of contractors and subcontractors on a luxury family villa complex, ensuring construction followed technical specifications and design drawings.
Collaborated with a global team of engineers, designers and managers to deliver the highest quality projects, producing and analyzing designs based on client needs and requirements, planning strategies for each segment, monitoring progress, and performing quality assurance. Worked on projects that included natural stone, curtain wall substructures, tension rods, façade precast panels, framing systems and substructures.

Etisalat New HQ - Dubai, UAE: Developed technical fixing details of natural stone cladding, precast sandwich panels and curtainwall substructure as the Technical Team Leader for the project.
Dubai International Airport - Dubai, UAE: Collaborated on several cladding systems, developing the technical fixing details and resolving configuration issues between cladding systems in ventilated facades
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque - Abu Dhabi, UAE: Created a detailed cost estimation for a cladding support system at the project.
ALUNASA Temporary Offices - Dubai, UAE: Conceived, designed and executed the schematics for the temporary offices of a curtainwall manufacturing facility, integrating electromechanical and communication systems.
Salam Enterprises Factory - Dubai, UAE: Supervised a small stainless-steel facility manufacturing parts and supplies for projects, programming specialized software to link product stocking and pricing with the facility database.
Worked on the team creating and executing designs, developing and presenting computer-generated imagery to clients, and contributing construction plans to meet requirements.
