* Act as team leader for design/ construction teams during the consecutive project stages to set relevant green objectives/ Energy targets, direct the project team, and ensure that objectives are well met within the set cost/time. This includes achieving the targeted green rating certification (LEED, Estidama, EHS, Sa’faat, and DMGB).
* Explore new business opportunities through leading the business development with all construction market associated stakeholders including developers, consultants, & contractors, based on developed detailed business networking plan.
* Prepare Technical/ Commercial proposals addressing the unique requirements of every project (i.e. Estidama, LEED, Commissioning management, Training, Energy Modeling, Energy auditing & retrofitting) and cover all relevant cost aspects.
* Conduct periodic meetings with the company team to discuss the overall projects progress aspects (i.e. technical, commercial), and discuss the team operational performance, and business development updates.
* Assist the Company senior management in setting yearly budget and business forecast.
* Conduct comprehensive and holistic energy audits for existing facilities, to define their energy/ water consumption patterns, identify gaps & potential improvements, optimize the facilities consumption patterns through setting benchmarks and proposing energy conservation measures based on detailed analysis.
* Ensure continuous measurement and verification is performed to verify on systems performance & savings, and to eliminate any deviation from the set objectives.
* Perform all the duties, roles, & responsibilities of contractor sustainability engineer in all projects, through developing a feasible green strategy and scorecard and implementation plan to achieve the targeted green certification.
* Act as the Point of contact between the project team & DPM (Estidama) to coordinate for sending CCRs, conducting Audits, getting approvals on U-value Calculations, CEMP, IAQ Plans, and all other Estidama/ LEED concerned documents.
* Monitor & Control the site construction activities to assure compliance with Estidama requirements and to address any non-conformance and recommend the required corrective action.
* Verify on all materials submittals to ensure their compliance with the applicable requirements before subsequent approval & procurement.
* Synchronize Testing and Commissioning Process with Estidama requirements to assure solid conformity with Estidama related Credit Points.
* Prepare & Develop Estidama Construction Rating Final Submission to be submitted to DPM for pearl Rating Approval.
* Contribute in preparing the Final Project Close-Out Report including (Commercial documents/ As-Built Drawings, Testing & Commissioning Records, Operation & Maintenance Manuals, and Warranties).
* Full execution of projects starting from mobilization up to completion and handover.
* Take active role in performing duties of QA/QC engineer whenever in need.
* Calculating and ordering the required quantities of building materials throughout the project.
* Following and supervising the work of suppliers and subcontractors.
* Issuance of invoices.
* External infra-structure works and landscaping.
