• Verify all cost estimate (BP, AFE, TCE) done by Projects Managements Consultants PMC (Amec, Worley, Flour, KBR & Technip).
• Prepare and verify Budget Proposal cost estimates for all Major Projects for various disciplines in liaison with Controlling Teams and PMCs.
• Prepare and verify Tender Cost (check) Estimate (TCE) for contracts for all minor, Medium & Major Projects for various disciplines in liaison with Controlling Teams, this including prepare bill of materials, reviewing quantities, drawings and technical specifications.
• Participate in Bids Evaluation Teams (commercial proposals) to evaluate the bids received against the tenders for all Minor, Medium & Major Projects in liaison with Controlling Teams and PMCs.
• Provide support to Project Managements /Constructions/Design Teams by negotiation of AO (Adjustment Orders) and Claims with Contractors.
• Compile, summaries, updating and maintain the automated estimating / cost database this including regular contact with local vendors and subcontractors in respect of unit cost data updates.
