Prepares daily, weekly and monthly progress reports in addition to any other reports required by the contract including but not limited to monthly progress photographs and reports as required by the site manager or operations manager.
a- Review shop drawings and vendor drawings for compliance with contract documents.
b- Review electrical calculations for compliance with contract documents.
c- Review material submittals for compliance with contract documents.
d- Analyzed test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.
e- Review technical specifications for conformance with contact documents.
f- Implement, manage and control the project electrical quality assurance plan.
g- Review As-built drawings for the electrical work.
h- Verify the updated drawings, carryout review of electrical procedures and instructions and assist for the maintenance of documentation system.
i- Review operation and maintenance manuals for the electrical work.
j- Witness testing and commissioning of all electrical systems.
k- Prepare projects engineering budgets, shop drawings as per the projects contractual procedures, technical submittals, prepare and update contract report about project status, attend projects design review meetings as well as technical meetings with client, consultant, subcontractors, or other company divisions as necessary.
l- Prepare, material purchases and subcontracts and most of project expenses, and to raise final outline of quotations, cost comparison and budget.
m- Coordinate between various trades of the job as like between various parties and fill the gap between E&M drawings and any other drawing like architectural, electrical and plumbing.
n- Prepare adequate, concise, and complete contracts for every subcontractor

My job description :-
Site Engineer make work plans for project (lighting, power, CCTV, sound system, fire alarm, A.C, EM, CCTV, IT system, sound system, SMATV , UPS, Lightning, Earth, ….) and follow up with consultant office and supervising the implementation
• Responsible for daily construction activity of the site, coordinating with Project Manager, Construction Manager, Consultants, subcontractors and all concerned departments etc. Using all approved drawings and materials.
• Responsible for checking the method statements in consultation with project Manager and same should approved by Consultant for execution of work.
• Supervise the activities of the Site Engineer/ Foreman/ General Foreman and assist them to perform effectively
• Responsible for collecting NOC’s from different Government Department/s to get the building permit & other required approvals.
• Monitoring progress of work against construction programmers and submission of required site reports in accordance with project reporting plan.
• Monitoring, controlling, and coordinating the works of different trade subcontractors and to report on their progress and or trends for problems / delays to Project Engineer / Construction Manager / Project Engineer..
• Responsible for maintaining and recording at all time site management information system and Performa, recording daily site activities and any circumstances that have adverse effects on the Project.
• Review drawings for correctness and clarity of information and take necessary action to ensure sufficient information is available. Monitor and ensure that only current revisions of Issued for Construction drawings are being used, and withdraw all superseded drawings from site.
