• Developing risk management plans, standards, policies and procedures.
• Follow up the implementation of projects risk management plan to achieve the strategic objectives.
• Study periodical (Projects and Programmes) risk management reports.
• Implement enterprise risk management based on the output of project risk management plan.
• Maintain CPA risk registry.
• Prepare and issue CPA risk management reports.
• Support the business departments at all phases of the risk management process.
• Coordinate with Project Managers in order to implement the projects risks within the Project Management system.

• Collecting and organizing all projects information.
• Monitoring & controlling projects plan, schedule, and budget.
• Executing project controls processes and systems for all project stages.
• Assist the projects with financial planning and cash flow analysis.
• Setting a project management system for the systematic tracking, reporting, management, and financial planning of all projects stages.
• Managing and assisting the coordination between all the projects stakeholders.
• Provide standardized PM procedures for chartering, work breakdown structures, risk analysis, nomenclature, estimating, and reporting.
• Periodical reporting on the projects progress and costs.
The Unit is under the direct supervision of the Minister of Housing and Urban Development & incorporation with USAID & CH2MHILL
Major Projects
• Ministry wide automated web based program management system (Ministry of Housing, Egypt) incorporation with USAID & CH2MHILL.
• Participate in research projects to improve construction management functions through the application of quality management systems, information and communication technologies (ICT), and environmental management systems.
• Participate in the creation of ISO 17025 quality management systems for HBRC Laboratories.
• Provide consultative services for construction projects.
• Participate in code development committees for both the Egyptian and united Arab code for lighting.
• Participate in organization of international conferences.
