Supervising all Northern area lab activities in Saudi Aramco for Crude Oil, Gas, LPG, Geo-Chemical Analysis, R.O Water, Boilers Water additives, TEG Unit Performance, Microbiological Analysis, Solid and Sludge Samples investigation and analysis
Maintaining all the ISO 17025 record and activities to ensure the quality of the instruments and the results to satisfy our client
Maintaining the periodic check for all the GOSP samples from different sections (Gas Section, Crude Section and Water unit section)
Working in various labs, including OCM Lab(Oil Conditioning Monitoring), Crude Lad Activities, Water Lab Activities, Micro-Biological Lab, Gas Lab and X-Ray Analysis
Performing and supervising all test related to the turbine and compressor lube oil from Offshore and onshore, including:
o TAN, TBN, Pentane residual, Ferro-graph, Particle counts, Moisture, Particle Counts using Laser Technique, Foaming Tendency, Air Release, Elemental analysis using Spectroil instrument, Oxidation Stability, and color test
Supervising and managing all Manifa Plant start up analysis to complete the crude daily production 900, 000 Barrel per day and overseeing Crude Oil testing, including (RVP, H2S Content, Salt content, BS&W and API Gravity)
Ensuring adherence with the QA & QC system in all Labs (Manifa, Qatiff, Khursaniya, Safaniya, Tanajib, Abu Ali and Shaybah Plants) to meet the requirements of the ISO-17025
Performing analysis on the water samples from the RO units and (Boiler Feed Water, Boiler Blow Down and Distillate water) to check all the chemical dosage such as the anti-scales, oxygen scavengers and the dissolved oxygen level
Carrying out Anti-scale and corrosion inhibitor curves to determine the residual of the corrosion inhibitor and the anti-Scale inhibitor chemicals to ensure the production line protection and SIDEMS units
Conducting Microbiological Test for STP units such as (Coli form, TOC, Phenols, Turbidity and Oil & Grease)
Determining all trace metals that may affect on the human health using ICP-MS, total chlorinated hydrocarbon Using GC-MS, Volatile Organic Compounds using GC-MS and synthetic Organic Compounds using GC-MS
Performing qualitative analysis of the solid samples using portable XRF instrument and ensuring the composition of the solid samples by wet analysis after dissolving the samples and confirm the elements concentration using ICP-OES
Key Achievements:
o Instrumentally developed a new method of Trace metals analysis in drinking and waste water using ICP-OES with excellent reproducibility with ISO 17025 Accredited Lab using ICP-MS up to 1ppb
o Stellar in creating a new method for mercury analysis in waste water up to 2 ppb using ICP-OES without any auxiliary unit such as Hydrate technique
o Introduced new method of tri-ethylen-glycol concentration in the dehydration water using Varian 3800 GC
o Successfully reduced the budget coast of Saudi Vision Laboratory by confirming the results of TKN using HACH 3900 instead of Kjeldal instrument and the results approved by Saudi Aramco NAOO
o Made vital contribution in achieving ISO 9001/2015 for Saudi Vision Company and successfully executed the Contract with Saudi Aramco for Northern Area laboratories
o Executed Aramco Manifa Plant Startup with Saudi Vision Laboratory to reach 900000 BPD during the first year for all the activities Gas, Crude and Utility Water Samples
Worked on gas lab, water lab, lube oil lab and ICP-OES, including plasma spectrometer JY ultima2
Carried out detailed analysis and for Sulfur Compounds (H2S, Mercaptan, carbonyl sulfide) measurements for LPG based on the concentration we can select the columns and detectors types and develop methods and its maintenance by utilizing GC (3800 and 450) chromatograph
Performed Calibration of GC and linearity for detectors and carried out different tests applied for these gases, including weathering, density and cupper strip corrosion
o This gives an indication that the gas contain sulfur or not, RVP for condensate and freezing valve for the cryogenic propane that also indication for the water content in the propane) complying with the ASTM standards
Successfully worked on two different online analyzers for gas and LPG analysis (ABB, EN-FAB) making calibration for them
Completed a course in the national institute for researches on the ICP OES& ICP-MS (inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy) and onsite training on JY Ultima2
Instrumentally utilized several lube oil instruments, including Oxidation stability (RPVOT) for lube oil (by making simulation to the lube oil in the system according to ASTM 2272 like high pressure and temperature in presence of the oxidation source as cupper in Kohler instrument)
Trained in the national research institute in the basics and the applications of ICP (inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy) for analysis water, soil and oil samples for approximately all elements
Key Achievements:
o Achieved ISO 17025 for five tests in Natural gas and LPG analysis
o Successfully Pass the proficiency Test (PT) in VSL for analysis of Natural Gas with different 20 Laboratory from all over the world
o Achieved 10 Million Working hours without Day out of Work
o Bagged 1st place in GPA for three years
o Designed & applied new system to re-use the outlet water from the dehydration system and save 400, 000 $ annually
• Sector: Mazzoni Plant, soap noodles fabrication factory, Quality control lab.
• Experience:
• Analysis of the end product (soap noodles) and determine its alkalinity or acidity, Total Fatty Matter, Salt, glycerol percent and determination of moisture by using Karl Fischer and IR instruments.
• Analysis of the raw materials ( fatty acids ), the main fatty acids we are dealing with, are Distilled Palm Fatty Acid, Distilled Palm Stearin Fatty Acid and Distilled Palm Kernel Fatty Acids and determine their chemical constants like Acid Value, Peroxide Value, Saponification Value, Iodin Value, Titer and color by lovibond instrument.
• In addition to work out of lab to control the quality of product.
• Sector: in Quality Control department for five months and in research and developing department for industrial coating for one month in updating and creating new products in wall and wood paints.
• Good experience in the raw materials of the paints (pigments, resins, de-foamers and rheological additives.
• Good experience in car refinish coats like acrylic and base system coating.
