• Manage the existing infrastructure, security projects and prepare the forthcoming ones.
• Plan, design and implement Raya data center new Infrastructure network and Security projects.
• Acting as the second level of escalation for solving network and security tickets
• Managing and supporting new installations for Data center customers include Network and Servers implementation.
• Implementing new network devices (routers, switches), Security devices (Firewalls, Load balancers).
• Implementing new Storage and Servers systems.
• Implementing new VMware projects.
• Managing over than 300 network node and Optimizing routing and switching configuration to keep the optimal connectivity between sites
• Configuring and troubleshooting customers Cisco ASA, Fortigate Firewalls, Cisco routers & switches and Juinper routers .
• Configuring Site-to-Site and remote access VPNs, and troubleshooting different VPN types (S2S, remote access, ssl) related issues.
• Upgrading the network devices (firewalls, routers and switches )operating system to a suitable version to fit in the device role in the customer network.
• Implementing monitoring systems including PRTG, whats up. Syslog servers like Kiwi syslog and configurations backup tools like Solarwinds Cattools.
• Administration of network Management and monitoring systems included (MRTG, SolarWinds, Wire shark, Whats up, PRTG, Vkernal, and Cisco works).
• Maintaining network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning.
• Configuring TACACS+ and RADIUS on Cisco ACS servers (AAA), and implementing new servers.
• Managing VMware vsphere (4, 4.1 & 5.1) environment and optmizing its intergration with the storage and the network
• Managing HP storage which include storage systems firmware upgrade, and LUNs provision to diffrent hosts (ESX, ESXi and Windows servers)
• Throubleshooting VMware Vsphere issues with the network infrastructure.
• Maintain the technical documentations for existing and new network infrastructure devices
• Troubleshooting leased lines, MPLS VPN L2 & L3 issues for Enterprise Customers.
• Configuring ATM DSLAMs and IP DSLAMs (Alcatel, Huawei)
• Troubleshooting routing protocols problems (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP and BGP)
• Troubleshooting PE-CE configuration problems.
• Dealing with Multi vendors Devices (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, Alcatel, HP).
