Managing and developing organization's financial reporting and restructuring the accounting operations. Responsible for managing accounting transactions, evaluating and managing risk and publishing financial statements. A business partner to all departments to ensure compliance with regulations, policies and internal controls.
Acting as a Business Partner accountable to provide timely and relevant financial reports. Contributes to policy setting and coordinates the development of department operations. Ensures timely submission, accuracy, consistency and integrity of financial data to support management’s decision-making on matters affecting overall corporate financial health. Contributes to the definition and achievement of agreed business objectives for the department. Establishes and maintains an accounting system which focuses on the accurate presentation of financial results upon approval of management.
Provides leadership and direction for controllers’ team across the group in all aspects of financial controllership, costing management, performance measurements, internal controls and process improvements to achieve the corporate goals and objectives. In addition, establishing an Internal Audit department to monitor performance and assure compliance with standards and controls.
Direct costing team in all aspects of costing system, through the detailed analysis of activities, cost pools and objects for effective Activity Based management. Monitor the implementation of the appropriate budgeting system and performance variances and indicators reporting structure.
Maintaining accountability for all aspects of accounting function including accounting treatments in terms of ledger entries, reconciliations and accruals.
