Hidd Phase III Transmission Project - Ministry of Electricity & Water - Bahrain: Project Scope consists of nine EPC contracts (1 pumping stations contact, 5 pipelines contacts, and 3 tanks contacts) worth USD 200 million; development of three new water pumping station at Hidd, Salambad, Buqowah stations and associated pipelines and upgrade of eight existing water pumping stations. The deliverables were preparation of design associated with civil, structure, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control, SCADA and preparation of an EPC tender documentation and specifications. In addition, prequalification and evaluation of tenderes and site supervision. Worked as a senior ICA engineer and my responsibilities were to develop the complete ICA and SCADA related design for all pumping stations. Additional responsibilities were to participate in the evaluation and selection of tenders for nine contacts. Moreover, lead the FAT acceptance tests for ICA under this contact. Other responsibility participated in project management and delivery of all above nine EPC contracts.
Hidd Phase III Production Project - Ministry of Electricity & Water - Bahrain: Project scope consists of development of 60 Mgd desalination (MSF) production plant plus 90 Mgd post treatment plant at Hidd area. The deliverables were preparation of design associated with civil, structure, process, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation and control, SCADA and preparation of EPC tender documentation and specifications. Worked as senior ICA Engineer for this project and my main responsibilities were to develop the complete ICA and SCADA related design for the MSF desalination plant. Other responsibility participated in project management and delivery of this EPC contract.
Previously worked for Black and Veatch Ltd. (Engineering Consultancy) as Senior ICA Engineer and Assistant Project Manager. Main responsibilities included preparations of feasibility studies, conceptual and detail design, functional design specifications and design review of EPC contract of all related instrumentation, control and automation, and SCADA. Other responsibilities participated in project management and delivery of several contracts, and played a major rule in tendering process from prequalification stage throughout the evaluation and selection stages.
