Occupational health and industrial health
• Manage and implement Health Management System of the organization based on national law, industrial best practices and international standards.
• Corporate compliance with national standards and best practices such as OSHAD, HAAD and EAD AD through all the aspects related to health and hygiene.
• Lead and manage the occupational Health specialists & Occupational Hygiene specialists.
• Generate and review Health & Hygiene procedures.
• Work with managers from all departments to develop and carry out Industrial health & Hygiene audits.
• Prepare statistical reports and presentations of the findings to ensure that management is fully aware of the state of the Industrial health and Hygiene performance.
• Participate in senior management meetings to discuss Health & Hygiene related issues and the outcome of audits/inspections.
• Provide professional recommendation on industrial hygiene concern & issues.
• Coordinate with clinic to include the selected employees based on the health studies and sampling for biological monitoring and health surveillance.
• Manage & implementation of projects such us noise reduction, chemical exposure controls.
•Manage qualitative and quantitative Health risks assessments.
•Plan and manage lighting and radiation surveys.
•Manage training & campaigns on different aspects of Occupational Health & industrial Hygiene.
•Lead physiological parameter of job position with OH Doctor (individual case study).
•Manage health & hygiene inspections for the Welfare facilities.
•Manage pest control program.
•Manage confined space pre-entry gas test program.
•Manage employees fatigue management.
•Provide safety leadership, direction and technical support to operational departments.
•Analyse safety data, report data trends and identify improvement opportunities.
•Develop and implement safety & health programs to ensure safe operation.
•Develop and implement plans for correction of deficiencies in programs.
•Recommend HS goals, objectives and support the organization in the implementation of HS objectives.
•Work within HS department to develop and improve best HS standards.
•Implement and facilitate the understanding of the EMAL EHSMS by acting as the specialist consultant to the department on the content, implications and compliance to the EMAL EHS standards.
•Promote the use and understanding of Health, Safety & Environment tools (accident communication, work procedures, safety notification, HSE Inspection, audit…) to create a stronger culture based on the Interdependent level.
•Lead accident Investigation.
•To ensure that the department Health, Safety & Environment plans and targets are achieved, maintained, adjusted, and aligned with the EMAL plans and targets.
•Manage, develop and deploy training programs to support the elements of the EMAL HS Management System & to increase the risk awareness of the EMAL and contractor employees (Risk assessment, Safety Culture, Safety leadership).
•Develop and conduct the EMAL HS Inspections programs (Internal and external) within EMAL and Contractors.
•Lead auditor of EMAL Health & Safety standards. (OHSAS 18001:2007)
•Leading and managing of more than 45 employees in different aspects of public health.
•Developing & managing the annual plan and distributing the roles between the staff.
•Health and hygiene inspection for the welfare facility in Dubai airports & Seaports.
•Health and Safety inspection in constructions sites and industries surrounding the ports.
•Environmental inspections and risk management controls in the ports.
•Pest control Service & management.
•Cost accounting of the service been provided to the ports.
