Proficient in providing input to Project Documents for Mechanical & piping fabrication, erection, assembly, commissioning and start-up requirements
Review the Contractor construction and engineering Technology in line with Company Policy and Procedures
Review of mechanical and Piping Design Basis and Scope of work, Preparation of necessary input data required for detail engineering, Preparation/Checking of Piping Material Specification
Coordinating with Engineering and liaise with the Contractor on detail engineering requirements.
Participating in project meetings for evaluating project progress and providing technical inputs
Providing input operation and maintenance issue associated with mechanical and piping layouts, in particular low points, venting, testing, etc
Evaluate the construction feasibility analysis evaluating the available materials & drawings.
Exploring site to suit the project’s needs and selecting construction methodology

Preparation of field modification drawing as per the site condition and issued to construction and monitoring the field modification activities

Proficient in providing and resolving the Piping related Technical Queries, deviation proposals & Internal Query
Ability to read and understand the engineering and construction related commands, Punches and resolve the punches as per the project specification

Prepare the work method statements and get approval from client and PMC
Managing Piping installations as well as supervision of sub-Contractors in handling all piping erection works
Evaluating piping erection drawing and ensure that all works are in accordance with SK project standard/specifications
Checking the availability of materials and spools delivery date from the warehouse for the good flow of erection on site
To monitor the progress with schedules and updating to construction Manager.
To ensure the quantity of the work executed by the construction sub-contractors and monitor the compliance with established schedule
Coordinate with mechanical Punch-out, PSSR and safety Walk through.
Providing technical support to the project on piping fabrication, installation, commissioning and Hook up
Ability to analyse problems, assess risk profile, determine action, and develop solutions, communicating intentions and progress to all levels
Attending Site queries, site Assistance and Site visit at regular intervals.
Liaising with subcontractor to ensure their compliance to Company project safety and Quality requirements
Interfacing with other discipline supervisor/ such as civil, mechanical and safety prior to piping erection and installation
Attending coordination meeting with the subcontractors and prepares Minutes of Meeting if necessary
Examining the monthly invoice and calculate the support weights
Tracking & supervision of Piping & Support Fabrication, Erection.
Prepare and deliver required daily/weekly/monthly reporting

Carries out day to day preventive and corrective maintenance duties related to installed oil, gas and water Piping’s, transfer Pipe lines, vessels, tanks, gas trunk line, spur line, main oil line and supports.
Carries out planned and breakdown maintenance and repairs of all piping, pressure and non pressure vessels, tanks, and supports in assigned field in accordance with set plans and standard procedures.
Receives work order from planning team and review pipeline conditions and Prepares hot, cold and other work permits, as required to obtains necessary approval prior to commencing maintenance and repair activities.
Executes small projects and approved modification work as directed by Engineering and Process Team. Participates in the preparation of inspection and welding procedures to ensure welding and fabrication work is carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with international welding and fabrication standards, codes and practices.
May assist and participate in specialized welding works carried out by specialists, as required.
Allocates work to contracted welders and provides full instructions on techniques, procedures, and consumable to be employed.
Selects suitable welding electrodes for various welding operations and welding alloys consistent with appropriate welding procedures.
Carries out welding work in the central workshops, or at site locations in accordance with appropriate welding procedures.
Use various welding techniques such as arc, gas welding, cold cutting and undertakes fabrication work, as required.
Carries out specialized welding operations on materials such as cast- iron, aluminium, brass, copper, stainless steel and various alloys.
Carries out welding repairs of pressure vessels and tanks.
Participates in the work of Cold Cutting of pipelines to remove sections of pipeline.
Responsible for fabrication of spools in fabrication yard and site Maintaining master data of the spools fabricated.
Checks daily planning schedules and reviews materials requisitions required for work orders scheduled for the next job.
Allotting works to respective crews, getting concurrence from QC department, sending fabricated spools to paint shop, shifting materials to work site.
Preparing reports required by the management from time to time.
Reviewing and suggesting revisions on drawing to the design team.
Fully familiar with the drawings, specifications and engineering procedures of the project and preparing as built drawings.
To respond to emergencies and take remedial action as required to ensure health, safety and the environment are protected.
