DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (PRE AND POST CONTRACT)
 Quantity takes off and preparation of BOQ.
 Assisting with rate built-up and estimating all the Tender preparation & Tender documents for the Tender submission.
 Materials Take off Quantities from Architectural, Structural, MEP Drawings and Prepare measurement sheets, (I am using PlanSwift 10 and AutoCAD software)
 Prepare the Reinforcement chart / bar bending schedule and evaluate weight (BBS).
 Visit to the site for verifying work done (Marked-up drawings and Quantity).
 Carry out an accurate Quantity take-off based on the drawing and specification.
 Prepare and submit Interim Payment Application (IPA) for the client, including all relevant supporting documentation.
 Review and Certify (Interim Payment Certificates - IPC) Subcontractor and Supplier Interim Payment Applications (IPA), Verify quantities, rates, and supporting documents to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and site progress.
 Check and issue variation orders to sub-Contractor.
 Prepare claims for back charges from subcontractors.
 Final account closing with subcontractors.
 Joint measurement with sub-contractors and client for valuations and variations and rectify disputes.
 Identifying the variation from the Client Instruction.
 Prepare and submit for variation orders (Change Proposal).
 Unit Rate build & preparation of backup documents for variation and new items.
 Identifying contractual variations and changes impacting the Change Proposal cost to support accurate and timely client submission
 Evaluate, negotiate & agreeing variations with the client.
 Prepare and maintain logs for claims and variations.
 Preparation of Estimation and Unit Rate build (WCR work and Additional work)
 Coordinate with Planning Engineer to prepare Monthly, weekly and Daily Progress Report.
 Collecting quotations for New Item (Preparation Price Comparison sheet).
