SCOPE OF PROJECT: Scope consist of Lusail Utility Tunnel, Cable Management System for Utility Tunnel, Power Cable and Fiber Optic Cabling, 66/11 kV Primary Substations, 11kV Network Secondary Substations and Pumping Stations. The scope which includes design engineering, procurement, construction and Testing & Commissioning.
Graduation: Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering : Period of study (2007 - 2010) : Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering : Period of study (2007 - 2010) ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ➢ Involved in Preparing schematics drawings and assist design department to prepare technical drawings ➢ Assessing contract/project requirements, relevant design conditions, identify limitations, and propose improvements. Collect and process data required for design work. ➢ Responsible for all electrical engineering works including design, procurement, installation and pre-commissioning, quality control and implementing large scale projects. ➢ Preparing Cable Schedule and Supervises Power Cable and Fiber optic Cabling, Jointing, Termination and testing & pre commissioning test activities at site. ➢ Supervises cable management system installation in utility tunnel, Primary and Secondary Substations. ➢ Preparing Cable drum Schedule. ➢ Involved in performing detailed quantity surveying for equipments, materials and consumables required to complete the project. ➢ Complies with all applicable legal and HSE requirements/procedures. ➢ Procurement of electrical equipment, including preparation/review of datasheets, requisitions, carrying out technical bid evaluations, review of vendor documents, expediting. ➢ Assist in the development of project schedules and manpower requirements. ➢ Prepares short-term construction schedule for site activities and review on the scheduled progress and prepare daily & weekly progress report. ➢ Approved outer sheath test engineer and permit holder (LOA) for Kahramaa (Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation) INTERACTS WITH: Site engineer, Field Services, Clients, Consultants, Contractors and Subcontractors. TESTING AND COMMISSIONING: ➢ Involved in the office and overall site activities related to testing, pre commissioning and handing over under the supervision of project manager. ➢ In addition to that, other site acceptance tests as per IEEE standard and approved Site acceptance test procedure.
