• Grand Zone School & Residential (Apartments 1010 Nos.) - Project Awarded (QAR 1.1 Billion)
• Tenbek Hospital - Project Awarded (QAR 1 Billion)
• Al Asmakh Area 01- Project Awarded (QAR 195 Million)
• CPC 07e "Officers Club & Shooting Range" Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) Qatar- Project Awarded (QAR 214 Million)
• Package CPC06: The Health Centre- Project Awarded (QAR 200 Million)
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Review tender documents; develop RFI's as required for the discrepancies and ambiguities.
• Take off quantities and compare with tender BOQ.
• Issues RFQs to selected sub-contractors and vendors.
• Organize sub-contractor's quotations, negotiate to ensure quotes meet contract requirements.
• Analyze sub-contractor/vendor bid proposals.
• Preparation of commercial comparison of sub-contractor's quotations.
• Assist the commercial manager to prepare report to the top management to decide the tender submission.
• Compile technical & commercial tender for the final submission before the deadline.
Post Contract
Assigned to various projects - Period 2015 to 2018
• Al Bidda Car Park (1095) - Approx. 650 Million QR
• Salwa DAHAB Mountains Water & Adventure Park at Salwa Resort Project, Qatar - Approx. 3 Billion QR
• Design & Build of Al Ashmak Heritage Project - Approx. 250 Million QR
Roles and Responsibilities
• Perform re-measurement exercise for the interim payment application.
• Preparation and process monthly interim payment application under main contract agreement.
• Checking sub-contractor's monthly valuation and prepare payment certificates.
• Verifying sub-contractor claim and prepare the payments.
• Quantity take off for the procurement purposes.
• Joint measurements with sub-contractor for final payment certificate.
• Preparing notification of variations (NOV), analysis of variations, preparation / valuation of variations, checking of final measurements, unit rate buildup and backup documents preparation for variation.
• Regular visits to project site for global monitoring of site activities and progress.
• Preparation Cost report including the status of procurement, work in progress, sub-contract payments, cash flow and expected profit & loss for the project.
Position : Quantity Surveyor Period : April, 2012 to January, 2015 Project : Borella Ayurveda Hospital
Roles and Responsibilities
• Take off quantities for tender.
• Prepare the BOQ.
• Take off quantities for variation.
• Prepare take off from drawings and compare with site measurements.
• Preparing the Interim payment application.
• Site measurement as required.
Position : Quantity Surveyor Period : June, 2007 to March, 2012 Project : Various Building and Road projects across the countries
Roles and Responsibilities
• Prepare the interim payment application.
• Prepare subcontractor's monthly payment certification.
• Prepare quotations obtained from different suppliers & sub-contractors.
• Take off quantities for variations.
• Carry out site measurement for monthly interim payment.
• Assess the plant & materials at site.
Project : Various Building and Road projects across the countries
Roles and Responsibilities
• Ensuring that the civil works related to buildings was completed as per the project scope.
• Liaise with the Engineer concerned in carrying out the daily activities.
• Ensure that adequate records are maintained for the activities carried out.
• Ensure that HSE Requirements are complied with throughout the construction activities.
