• Install Clone Server from production Server.
• Install Oracle APPS Patches For Maintenance.
• Follow Oracle Database Space & Oracle Application Space.
• Follow Temp Folders & Files on Database & Application Server.
• Follow Oracle Scheduled Request and Maintenance.
• Install Oracle Enterprise Linux & Oracle Applications
• Open New SR On Oracle Metalink and Follow it.
• Create Full backup Weekly and transfer to External Hard Disk
• (Aix 6.1 + Oracle Linux + FreeBSD + Windows ) Troubleshoot These OS System
• Troubleshoot (IBM Tivoli system)
• Troubleshooting issues arise on the Linux server is the major duty of a Senior Linux Administrator.
• Reviewing of all the error logs and fixing it is another duty of this job
• Linux administrator is responsible for installing the necessary procedures and security tools
• Linux administrator duty is to upgrade the software‘s installed on to the server including upgrading virus software’s and code upgrades.
• Taking frequent back up of data, create new storage procedures and scheduled back up is one of the duty of this job.
• Ability to work with Linux friendly applications and able to troubleshoot it when issue arises from the server.
• Monitoring of servers is also one of the important duty of this job.
• Responsible to ensure the highest standards of availability, integrity, security and performance.
• Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include installs, updates, upgrades, patches updates, tuning, optimization, backups and resource management with best planning.
• Responsible for application administration /security profiles.
• Proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
• Management and maintenance of back-ups & recovery procedures.
• Interact with and coach developers in SQL and PL/SQL scripting.
Report incidents and provide periodic status reports.
• Capacity to stay up to date with the latest in Oracle, SQL technology products and versions.

o Troubleshooting for any related issues.
o Install for any related peripherals like receipt printers, customer
displays, cash drawers & touch screen.
o Testing & tuning
o End implementation document process.
