-Assessment and Diagnosis:

-Collaborate with medical professionals to interpret diagnostic tests, imaging studies, and medical history to formulate accurate treatment plans.
-Treatment Planning and Implementation:
Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, goals, and clinical presentation.
-Administer a variety of physiotherapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, mobilization, and modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy.
-Provide education to patients and their families on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and techniques for promoting optimal musculoskeletal health and respiratory function.
-Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation:
Provide rehabilitation services to patients recovering from orthopaedic surgeries, fractures, joint replacements, and musculoskeletal injuries.
Implement progressive exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and functional mobility.
-Utilize hands-on techniques such as joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and therapeutic taping to reduce pain, restore joint mobility, and enhance tissue healing.
Geriatric Rehabilitation:
-Assess and address the unique needs of elderly patients, including age-related musculoskeletal changes, balance impairments, and functional decline.
Design individualized rehabilitation programs to optimize mobility, independence, and safety in activities of daily living.
-Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex medical and psychosocial factors impacting geriatric patients' rehabilitation outcomes.
-Respiratory Care:
Evaluate and treat patients with respiratory conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, pneumonia, and post-operative respiratory complications. Provide chest physiotherapy techniques, breathing exercises, airway clearance techniques, and pulmonary rehabilitation programs to improve respiratory function and promote effective breathing patterns.
-Documentation and Communication:
Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of assessment findings, treatment plans, interventions, and patient progress in electronic medical records.
Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, facilitate discharge planning, and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
