• Plan, lead and coordinate technical projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, provide direction for product development.
• Identify and drive new ideas and programs and sell them to the appropriate business partners by translating technical information for non-technical business partners.

• Support quality and manufacturing teams of the region sites to achieve the optimum performance and ensure production sustainability within regular production, productivity and BCP projects.
• Use digital simulation models to obtain, understand and interpret consumer insights and commercial information.
• Plan, lead and coordinate pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements.
• Organize project team meetings and establish project technical scope and approach and manage project design and delivery.
• Coaching and mentoring others.
• Deliver R&D track for major and minor Growth/NPD projects for EEMEA region within approved budget and timeline in accordance with the global business process.

• Lead the R&D pilot plant for lab trials and samples preparation.

• Effectively coordinate with different stakeholders (Marketing, Procurement, Business Development, Product Change Management, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Planning) and senior business leaders to ensure alignment throughout development process by providing options, recommendations, and rationale to drive for the right business decisions.
• Provide all technical data of the product to the quality and manufacturing teams with official documented SOPs and workbook specifications.
Support the startup of the new Gum factory with advanced R&D product and process technologies to maintain the business
growth and deliver new products for EEMEA region.
• Develop and execute products through the life cycle of product development including product formula design, conducting

• Lead the central R&D lab for all business units (Egypt, Sudan, Libya, Algeria, Morocco, GCC, Turkey, Iran, Kazakhstan).
• Manage the sensory validation system and analysis by training and choosing the right panelists, testing products and prototypes
with the consumers through in-home visits, focus groups and market research.
• Build internal and external network with partner suppliers to identify, create and deliver innovation opportunities based on
consumer and category insights and brand requirements.
• Provide all technical support needed regarding the product or the packaging for all plants.
