2. Scheme checks (M1&M2 protection, backup protection, Synchronizing, breaker fail, Bus bar protection, communication scheme for distance relays, DC system, Interlocks, inter trip, ATS scheme.
3. Generator Protection Panel manufacturer GE, Exciter Field Panels.
4. Inter face between generator switch gear and Generator protection panel and inter trip panel and cross trip panel and mark 6 panels.
5. Overall Stability for” bus bar, REF, Generator, step up/ down transformer”
6. Synchronizing of the Turbine to the Grid and Starting up of Turbine and reverse power test.
7. Testing Mimic, Annunciation, metering, load shedding, AVR Panels.
8 LV, MV, HV, EHV convention and GIS switch gear ”C.T, V.T, isolators, GIB and C.B “
High voltage test, Contact resistance, function check, interlocks, Timing for C.B.
Complete testing all type of C.T, V.T, surge arrestor
I worked in Middle Zone of Alexandria which contains important load and Industrials load .this zone contain big four substation 220/66 K.V and twelve substation 66/11 K. v
1- Design and maintenance the Control circuit of operation of all Power system devices such as “Isolating Switches -Circuit Breaker -motors “for different manufacturer such as ABB, SIEMENS, ALSTOM, Schneider.
2- Testing, programming, maintenance and making detail commissioning on most of protection different Relays manufacturer such as ABB, SIEMENS, ALSTOM, SEL, GE
3- Protection and control of POWER TRANSFORMER for different voltage Level and rating
4- Fault analysis by taking the data from Fault Recorder and studying the working of protection relays in this fault ok or not and if not ok we studying the defective in the relay or in the setting of the relay .
5- Making routine program on this substation and complete testing protection relay in this program.
6- Renew old protection relay electromechanical with digital protection relay
