- Maintain relationship with existing clients and develop relationship for new clients
Plan and coordinate major conferences in the hotel; meet with clients and potential clients to recruit conferences to the hotel, specifying conference support requirements and writing contractual agreements with conference clients.
Develop promotional brochures, audiovisual materials, video presentations, and other tools to recruit and contract with potential conference clients; coordinate technical and design staffs to ensure that these materials are produced according to specifications.
Define, specify, and request Auxiliaries and other support services for conferences, including food service, transportation, and hotel and apartment accommodations; ensure that support service requirements are clear and well-defined; evaluate post-event quality of support services and provide feedback as necessary to clients and management.
Supervise conference-related activities including client billing, payment of vendor invoices, dispute resolution with clients and vendors, written pre-event confirmation of vendor services.
Determine fiscal requirements and prepare budgetary recommendations; monitor, verify and reconcile expenditure of budgeted funds.
