•Support top management in the decision making through providing a detailed and sensitivity analysis for all alternatives.

•AOP preparation: Build detailed Annual Operating Plan by GL Account and cost Center through close and thorough Work with other functions.

•Operating Cash flow forecasting: Build and manage detailed cash flow budget in line with the cascaded targets and ensure specific improvement versus last year in all working capital lines which ensures healthy financials.
•Monthly rolling forecast preparation to ensure that all updates are captured and identified to top management on time.
•Detailed NOPBT cause of change preparation to ensure that all changes versus plan and prior year are closely monitored and justified.
•Monthly tracking and monitoring for all profit &loss and Balance Sheet accounts versus plan and analyzing the variance & the root cause behind the variances and recommendation.
•Provide and alert the top management with all significant variance, the reason behind and the recommendation to mitigate or eliminate those variances from the root cause.
•Manage monthly meetings with all stakeholders to review the actual results versus plan, review the KPIs and agree on the corrective action to ensure the achievement of all targets.


•Quarterly forecasting for all profit and loss and Balance sheet accounts.
•Quarterly preparation for operating cash flow presentation including full analysis for the year to date performance versus plan and prior year and forecasting for the balance of the year.
•Responsible for evaluating all productivity initiatives either P&L or non P&L and ensure proper monthly tracking for them.

•Drive optimization, simplification and automation projects for PCE. ( MEA SD & SAP )
•Review/assess the economics of all the Key Commercial Agreement including but not limited to agreements with Modern Trade, Chain Customer & Key hotels (i.e. Hilton - Carrefour ex…)
•Manage Central Multi Million credits for various sales channels including but not limited to the organized trade, Hotels Chains, whole-seller, Direct distribution & export, proposal optimal credits to drive the upmost sales targets with minimal risks.
•Budgetary control for PCE multi million $ Discounts & allowances budgets, recommend and asses optimal utilization for various types of discounts, ensure proper controls are in place.
•Prepare the prices buildup with the Tax team which ensure complying with the tax law.
•Review and propose the financial Settlement and Control mechanics for Mega Marketing agreements.
•Ensure the revenue recognition in accordance with the PepsiCo Policy on timely bases through the daily interface between MEA S&D (Sales Module) and SAP.
•Assurance of PCE SOX/COSO compliance through risk assessments, Compliance field visits, reports results and proposed enhancement to the Audit Committee follow up on the action plan.
•Achieving implemented in 2010 and 2014 Corp. Audit Assessment for the Order to Cash cycle as well as the Advertising and Marketing.
•Designee the Control and accounting treatments of Advertising and Marketing spend for the beverage campaigns and TV media and other innovation activities.s
•Managing the monthly closing activities, to ensure that all entries are accounted for correctly in accordance to the accounting standards and accounting principles.

•Managing Pepsi Cola Egypt Accounts Receivables, which is complicated and high turnover business due to the huge volume of Customers (Cash and Credit) up to 40 thousands with different sales channels and different payment terms .

•Managing all Accounts receivables monthly closing tasks, reviewing all Debit and Credit notes, reviewing the customer’s aging, preparing the Allowance for doubtful monthly entry and securing the needed approvals as per the company policy.
•Leading a monthly with the Sales department to ensure that all previous months issues has been highlighted, agree on the action plan and follow up on the progress.
•Ensure that all Accounts Receivables accruals are correctly accounted for and follow up with the stake holder to the utilization.


•Work with the Legal and Sales on the defaulted customers to make sure that all reasonable efforts are took place.
•Make a confirmation on the customer balances according to the company approved policy to ensure the correctness ad the accuracy of the company receivables.
•Prepare credit assessment study for the existing and new customers based on the sales channel, credit term, customer payment history and any other factor to be considered in the credit evaluation.
•Prepare a compliance visits for all Distribution Centers to ensure that all process are complied with the approved policies and procedures.
•Prepare and calculate the Accounts Receivables best estimate, reconcile it versus the actual and identify the reason behind the variances and take the corrective action.
•Played a Key and Critical in Oracle and SAP setup, Implementation which was a great enhancement on Pepsi process.
•Reviewing cause of change analysis for all Accounts Receivables and ensure that all movement is correct and there is no misallocation.

Key Achievements

•MEA S&D system implementation and rolling out: MEA S&D is an internal system PepsiCo, I have enrolled PepsiCo Egypt since 2001 and since that date I have worked with IT team to enhance the system and currently it is a very solid system and has an interface with both SAP and Hand Held.
•Oracle system implementation: I have participated in Oracle, blue print and ensured all business scenarios are captured in the blue print document, then I have worked with Oracle and PepsiCo IT teams to ensure that there is no miss communication in the system setup then followed a detailed user acceptance testing to ensure that all requirements are captured and to ensure also smooth implementation.
•SAP system implementation, same role as Oracle in addition to being a super user and train other users.
•I have rewarded as a star of the quarter across AMEA region due to thinking, creating and developing on of the best simplification initiatives.
•Hand Held setup, blue print, testing and implementation.
