Lead complex supplier negotiations requiring understanding of contractual terms and sourcing levers

• Effectively manage and lead the team through change, through promoting the positive outputs of change, seeking to understand the impact of change on individuals and adapting approach to meet all needs
• Lead and maintain monthly supply chain metrics to assure inventory needs are met, costs are controlled, and quality is maintained, Order to Cash Cycle Time, Perfect Order Rate, On-Time Fulfillment, Inventory Turnover, Inventory Accuracy, Out of Stock, Forecast Accuracy
• Manage S&OP process with marketing, sales, customer service, product management, finance, and technical
• Manage the demand planning, forecasting and inventory replenishment process so as to optimize inventory levels while maintaining high fill rates in all sales channels
• Strategically plans and manages logistics, warehouse, transportation and distribution for 3PL and customers
• Working on various regional and global project for supply chain optimization, direct to market models, procurement optimization and inventory optimization
• Build and maintain a holistic overview of customers strategic as an integral part of delivery strategies, including execution of new item innovation, promotional execution and product rollovers
• Manage complete Order to Cash (O2C) process and service of IBS customers at a level of quality above expectations and ensure that IBS services and relations with external and internal customers are at the highest
• Handling the procurement life cycle from initiation of the planning stage till the performance review of supplier and vendor finances settlement
• Primary responsibility is to ensure full compliance of whole supply chain operations with quality systems & standards by inoculating a strong quality culture in supply chain and distribution networks
• Formulate, implement and administer quality management system and strategic initiatives to achieve short and long range quality improvement objectives
• Perform training & workshops for GWP (good warehouse practice) to all 3PL workers & management
• Conduct routine and unannounced audit for 3PL warehouses, co-manufacturers, suppliers and key customers to ensure complying to quality & food safety standards
• Handling all customer and consumer complaints & product defects and monitoring the implementation of the necessary corrective & proactive actions
• Develop warehouse management system (WMS) improvements by analyzing process workflow, evaluating space requirements, and determining any equipment needs
• Provide strategic and operative direction for all inventory related operations (inbound, inventory control, cycle count and outbound) to ensure maximum utilization of DCs capacity and report any discrepancies
• Ensure that all inbound shipments are received and booked in smooth and qualitative inbound processes, and that urgent inbound shipments are given the required focus and priority
• Handle the full cycle of expired goods at all DCs from root cause analysis and physical inspection till final destruction and system cleansing
• Ensure the process of First In, First Out (FIFO), First to Expire, First Out (FEFO) is maintained at all times in accordance with contract requirements
Handle all supply chain and logistics operations between region HO and distributors
Ensure SOPs are available and valid for all processes related to the logistics & planning operations
Determine & update relevant KPIs for tracking processes to monitor supply chain performance
Interact with sales, marketing, trade, and business development to determine assumptions, latest market trends and promotional activities during monthly S&OP meeting
Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function and update demand system to increase accuracy and improve the forecasting, supply & demand management process
Monitor demand plan error at all levels and analyze that root-cause and corrective actions
Participate in supply planning process to achieve optimum stock level in minimum cost
Analyze phase in & phase out marketing plans and determine the impact on the demand plan and business plan
Manage inventory and achieve required inventory levels at the defined inventory component level across network stocking locations to meet customer service levels
Address inventory imbalances and analyze that root-cause and corrective actions
Follow up shipments ETD, ETA and documents with customs clearance till warehouse receiving
Monitoring of inbound and outbound logistics in main WH and DCs to achieve required customer service level
Ensure implementation of FEFO during replenishment and delivery of goods to DCs and customers
Handle the cycle of expired goods inspection and root cause analysis until final destruction
Ensure optimum stock levels with respect to safety stock, monitoring expiry of goods and forecast accuracy
Ensure accurate and on-time availability of goods for distribution and sales
Prepare purchasing budgets for required items in coordination with the sales department while securing cost-effective order placements with suppliers
Responsible for implementing an appropriate management tool for expired and near expired products to ensure no sales to market by moving the product to destruction location in a timely manner Manage quarterly destruction process for all destruction location inventory as per the destruction guidelines
Implement and maintain collaborative forecasting with external and internal customers Ensure proper delivery of shipments to the main warehouses
Manage the production planning and inventory control team and processes
Monitor the production plan and the requirements
Check factory machines monthly capacity according to monthly needs and budget
Follow up new products & promotions with sales and marketing departments
Trace the action plans of the dead and slow moving stocks
Planning of required raw materials quantities and delivery dates according to sales forecast, production plan, suppliers lead time and capacity
Develop safety stock models for critical raw materials
Create balance between production demands, inventory at all production levels
Arrange for shipment & freight for materials ordered from overseas suppliers
Plan with warehouse the space requirement to store incoming materials
Responsible and accountable to ensure that all assigned personnel are coordinating their activities with other project participants, and that the requirements of the Contract are being satisfied
