- To ensure implementation of preventive, predictive, corrective, breakdown and modular shutdown maintenance programs and modifications of all HVAC & R system and equipment for enhanced machine availability and asset integrity.
- To ensure seamless integration with the maintenance group for effective planning and efficient use of resources with the use of CMMS (MAXIMO) system.
- To closely monitor the HVAC & R contractor activities, by conducting audit and weekly meeting to highlight their shortfalls/drawbacks and suggest for improvement for the effective implementation of scope in line with the service agreement.
- To enforce the implementation of GASCO Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSE-MS) and also promote awareness of its use among assigned staff.
- To fully utilize the Maximo Management System in terms of work execution, material reservation, history update, budget control and purchasing.
- To prepare, and execute contract Scope of Work documentation.
- To Carry out the necessary load calculation for the new HVAC & R proposed systems.
- Review the company standards for HVAC & R in order to be inline with the international and national requirements
- To troubleshoot of the chronic and recurring problems related to the HVAC & R systems.
- ISO Focal Point for mechanical Department to ensure the correct implementation of the ISO 9001-2008.
- Participating in Major Plant shutdown being the mechanical coordinator for the activities carried out by the Shutdown contractor.
- Focal Point for lifting Equipment and Lifting operation in side the plant (preparing lifting plans, coordination with third party inspection and Lifting equipment regular maintenance activity by the contractors).
- A special Assignment in Piping Replacement and Modification Projects including Job assessment, Material Purchasing, Planning, Manpower allocation, Project execution and Quality control (Welding and Hydro-testing Processes).
- To perform failure analysis and recommend solutions for rectifying the condition.
- To compile/provide input for preparation of division/department Capital, Operating and 5 Year Plan budgets, and monitor/control expenditure.
- To produce method statements and job procedures for all critical activities.
Moreover, as a certified Internal Auditor, it is mandatory to be part of the annual Internal Auditing plan as well as being involved in external Audits as a focal point or Management Representative.
Make shop drawings for all the mechanical systems (HVAC, Plumbing & Fire fighting), coordination drawings and builder’s work, material submittal technical review and following up with suppliers, attending all technical meetings, all calculation for all services required by consultant/ suppliers, Responsible for coordination with main contractor works
preparing a complete design for all mechanical services.
preparing all tender documents (drawings, calculation, equipment schedules)
