Operations Supervisor at Suez Canal Container Terminal

• My current job since August 2008

Vessel Supervisor:
-Ensure that Safe vessels Berthing/Sailing.
-Ensure that Pre operation procedures are in place
-Close monitor the vessel operation and give the technical assistance to the vessels gang and report any irregular situation.
-Monitor the performance of the vessel gang.
-Distribute and monitor the vessel documentation
-Review the documentation completed by the Deck and Wharf controllers.
-Supervise the Vessel Operation to ensure that operation is running smoothly, safely and according to the Standards, Procedures and best practice .


Yard Supervisor:
- Pre Shift Preparation.
-Assist in solving all the yard operational problem like :
1. Yard clashes.
2. Narrow Ranges.
3. Truck Traffic Jam.
4. Truck Re-plan.

-Ensure safe working environment is in place.
-Full understanding of the Yard strategy, reporting positive and negative feedback to yard planning.
-Arrange and prepare any loading for an OOG container.
-Monitor the performance/attitude of the RTG and RS/EH operator and work as valuable source of information to be used in the appraisal process.
