- Report to the plants General Manager.
- Lead the HSE team (15 members) in all factories (AFI, AOI, ASD & Global Glass).
- Supervise the group’s remote sites (Suez and Damietta Ports).
- Promotion of Health, Safety and Environmental culture throughout the group.
- Set the departmental strategies to achieve Zero Incident target.
- Assess and approve contractors during the bidding phase in terms of health and safety performance.
- Review the contract documents for each construction package in respect of safety requirements.
- Supervise all contractors and subcontractors assigned for all construction activities.
- Ensure the proper implementation of the Safe System of Work (PTW, hot work, LOTO, Lifting, etc…)
- Determine the training needs for all employees (3, 500) to ensure understanding of HSE rules & concepts.
- Create and supervise the implementation of the master training plan.
- Deliver the HSE training to the managerial staff and visitors.
- Ensure the proper distribution of safety signs in all workplaces to enhance the workers safety awareness.
- Lead the risk assessment team for all plants and utilities.
- Ensure the fire safety in all plants, warehouses and offices.
- Supervise the maintenance of the existing firefighting equipment / systems to ensure its efficiency.
- Create the annual emergency drills plan and supervise its implementation.
- Ensure the compliance with the international standards (OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001).
- Prepare and attend all internal and external audits related to HSE.
- Ensure compliance with the applicable HSE legal obligations.
- Liaise with the governmental bodies (H&S Directorate, Civil Defense, Industrial Control Authority, etc.).
- Evaluate the HSE team members’ performance and detect the area of improvement.
- Determine the Training Need Analysis (TNA) for the HSE team.
- Set the criteria for selection of new HSE personnel.
- Attend the weekly top management meeting and conduct the safety moments.
- Prepare the required monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
- Lead the monthly OHS committee meeting.
- Lead the weekly HSE departmental meetings.
- Prepare and control the HSE budget for the whole group.
- Lead the incident investigation to determine the root causes and corrective / preventive actions.
- Follow up the sharing and implementation of the incident lessons learned.
- Approve all safety equipment and PPE prior to purchasing process.
- Ensure the efficiency of emergency and first aid resources.
- Supervise the pest control procedures implementation by the contracted service provider.

Lead the assigned HSE officers to ensure the implementation of the HSE rules.
Ensure that all employees are aware of the mandatory biological safety rules.
Assess the training and awareness needs of the Mega-Lab's employees
Deliver the induction training sessions to the new comers and other required training to all employees.
Daily audit to all Mega-Lab's units to ensure the correct implementation of the HSE rules.
Ensure the fire safety of the building.
Ensure the chemical handling and storage safe procedures.
Ensure the proper implementation of the Emergency Response Plan.
Prepare and execute the Emergency Drills.
Ensure the implementation of the safety requirements of the CAP accreditation body.
Attend weekly safety meeting with the Units' managers to discuss the safety issues & requirements.
Attend the monthly top management meeting to present the required safety resources.
Lead the monthly OSH committee meeting.
Liaise with the governmental directorate (Labor Office) officers regarding the legal compliance.
Review and update the current safety manuals, chemical hygiene plans, ERP, etc…
Prepare all the new required safety documents.
Attend the regular audits by the clients (Multinational Pharmaceutical Companies) and follow up the findings.
Follow up the maintenance, qualification and calibration of the existing safety equipment.
Ensure that all employees have received the required vaccinations against the potential infections.
Ensure the proper procedures for the bio-waste handling, interim storage and final disposal.
Maintain and update the environmental register as per the EEAA requirements.

Prepare and ensure implementation of HSE procedures and plans.
Prepare the weekly, monthly & quarterly HSE reports required by the Client & PMC.
Prepare the Management Review Report to be presented for the top site management.
Responsible for the correspondences with the Client, Subcontractors & Governmental labor office
Weekly audit to all project sites to improve the HSE performance at all ERC project sites.
Investigate and report accidents, High Potential near-misses and follow up actions and close outs.
Carry out safety audits, inspections and risk assessment.
Attend the Weekly HSE meeting with all subcontractors, the client (ERC) and the PMC (Worley Parsons).
Attend the weekly community meeting with the client, PMC & GS Social Department to ensure the workers’ welfare onsite.
Attend the kick off meeting with all subcontractors who will assign to ERC project to ensure that all subcontractors' management personnel are familiar with all project HSE requirements.
Develop MOM of HSE meetings and maintain these records.
Review all Work Method Statements (WMS) and Task Risk Assessment (TRA) submitted by the subcontractors.
Review and approve all PTWs in the area under my responsibility.
Ensure the implementation of the equipment, scaffolding and lifting gears inspection and color coding system.
Participate in the evaluation of the new Subcontractors to be hired and then to ensure their compliance with the contractual H&S obligations.
Attend all audits (IFC, ERM, Insurance, etc…) that concern about the environment & health / safety of site employees.
Conduct regular audit to the subcontractors' Safety Management System.
Responsible to manage and supervise social, community and welfare facilities in the project.
Plan, participate and observe emergency drills.
Ensure that all personnel on project obtained the induction training and received the required training to get familiar with the project's HSE requirements.
Attend the daily Tool Box Meeting (TBM) that is being conducted by subcontractors to all employees.
Update observation cards tracking list and analyze its data as per GS AIPP (Accident Incident Prevention Program).
Ensure proper installations of safety signs as per GS awareness system.
Ensure that all gas tests are conducted regularly during the construction activities if required.
Conduct environmental measurements within the site battery limit such as noise level, air monitoring, lighting intensity, etc…
Liaise with the suppliers to provide the required PPE and other safety equipment.
Ensure the inventory of the PPE and all other required safety equipment.

Ensure the implementation of the HSE rules on the production lines.
Conduct the Tool Box Meetings to the production personnel prior to the shift start.
Ensure the guarding of all rotating parts of the production machines.
Ensure the safe storage of the final products.
Detect the non-conformities and propose corrective actions and required resources.
Ensure the effectiveness of the firefighting system.
Participate in the emergency drills.
Ensure the safe chemical handling and storage on the production lines.
Ensure the compliance with the mandatory PPE by all production personnel.
Perform routine analytical on-line testing in compliance with the predetermined sampling plan to ensure that finished beverage product meets quality standards.
Running proportioning equipment (mixers) and maintaining accurate records
Monitors and records Brix, CO2, Acidity (TA) and net content as required and make proper adjustment as necessary to ensure product quality within Pepsi specifications
Monitor bottle washer performance and quality parameters to ensure returnable bottles proper cleaning and sanitation
Monitor visual inspectors and EBI efficiency to ensure foreign matters elimination
Perform necessary adjustments to product batches and other processes when out of normal operating conditions are experienced.
Test finished product and final package for quality parameters. Analyze and respond to results as needed. Initiate root cause analysis with team members to identify and implement corrective action
Audit container rinsers, air blowers, filters, and coders to ensure proper operations
Use analytical instrumentation such as Carbo-QC, Denstometer, pH meter, Refractometer, Torque tester, secure seal tester, etc
Logging and tracking of on-line samples testing
Place all products and packages that fall outside quality ranges on hold for further testing or review
Lead lines sanitation and deep cleaning duties as needed and ensures proper sanitation and cleaning of production lines before start up and during production
Ensure micro samples are pulled and plated on all production lines after full sanitation "5 steps CIP"
Meet plant agreed quality targets related to production lines based on CORK monthly results.
Ensure producing safe products and applying key food safety attributes in his area of concern.

Scientific presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses in GP surgeries, hospital doctors and pharmacists in the retail sector to promote the product sales and prescription.
Keep up to date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company, and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with health professionals during presentations.
Organize conferences for doctors and other medical staff.
Build & maintain positive working relationships with the physicians & other customers.
Manage the determined budgets (for catering, outside speakers, conferences, hospitality, etc…
Achieve and if possible exceed the quarter and annual sales targets within the territory in charge.
Plan work schedules and weekly and monthly timetable.
Attend the regular company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings, sales review, etc…
Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products.
Regular follow up to the local distributors under the area in charge (UCP, Ibn Sina, Pharma overseas, etc…
