Achievements:
1. Develop competitive, value-add proposals to support ARESCO’s service portfolio with regard to scope of work, timeline, pricing and quality.
2. Coordinated and project managed large RFP's and RFQ's (Orascom, CCC, Archirodon, Hassan Allam Sons “HAS”, PSP-Elsewedy, Enppi, Petrojet, Siemens, AC-Boilers, Ansaldo, Intecsa Industrial, Tecnicas Reunidas, Bechtel, Wuhuan, Technit, Lafarge, Titan cement, Cemex, Nooter Eriksen, Saipem, Petrofac, Fluor and GasCool).
3. Handle complex Quotations, Proposals and Tenders include both Technical and Commercial proposals supported by risk assessment, cash flow, scope of supply definition, responsibility matrix and project schedule.
• Job Responsibilities:
1. Reporting to Estimation manager and Commercial director.
2. Analyze RFQ / Project Scope requirements; Study and analyze tender documents for both technical and commercial requirements.
3. Providing guidance, direction, assign tasks and Motivating to Subordinates including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
4. Support and guide the Tendering Team members in bid preparation and documentation review prior to management approval, making sure that the tender proposal meets the quality and competitiveness standards required to be successful.
5. Managing and coordinating proposal tools, templates, and processes.
6. Coordinate Project requirements with involved departments such as Engineering, Fabrication, Civil, Erection, Electrical & Instrumentation, quality control & assurance, sub-contractors, procurement and logistics then integrate associated costs into the proposal price and summary sheets.
7. Handling involved departments inquiries and clarifications with client in order to ensure accuracy of project scope cost estimates and quoting.
8. Review and analyze tender documents (Conditions of Contract and customer specifications), highlight needed information and find an optimized solutions concept in order to prepare a competitive bid and quotations.
9. Define or assist in defining manufacturing process steps and sequences of operations.
10. Construct cost estimates of material and manufacturing costs by reviewing functional information, engineering drawings and customer specifications.
11. Work closely with procurement to identify project costs, lead time requirements, and review of suppliers and sub-contractors offers.
12. Coordinate with Planning and scheduling on Internal Resources Planning and other relevant Contractual Issues.
13. Solicit competitive sources (or assist Purchasing) if required for; Purchased Capital Equipment, raw materials and outside services.
14. Improve the proposal costing by simplifying the system design, negotiating with vendors and sourcing for cheaper vendors.
15. Preparation of Technical and Commercial proposals that meet customer needs through interpretation of the requirements, technical specifications, bids, contracts and other sales-related documents then deliver them to client.
16. Ensure to meet the deadlines of all tenders/proposals.
17. Support and coordination of sales activities related to development of proposals.
18. Enhanced clear communication channels between operation teams and customers by clearly identifying requirements and quality.
19. Optimized and maintained customer relationships by communicating deviation and processing requires in a timely manner with related parties.
20. Perform other tasks as required and assigned by Management (Customer meetings, Project line-ups, End-User site Visits and projects kick-off meetings).
21. Attending Technical Clarification meetings and price negotiations sessions with customer to pursue for the award of project.
22. Customer Relation Management (CRM).
