▪ Establish a Health and Safety department commensurate with the activity and size of the group
▪ Create the HSE policy and circulating them within the company’s branches
▪ Participating with the Top management to develop a new strategy and time plan
for developing the branches
▪ Provide Risk assessment with review and update annually in conjunction with the HSE Committee
▪ Developing firefighting devices - fire alarm systems and conducting periodic tests for them
▪ Provide HSE training program to include all group employees to deal with work place hazards
▪ Professional leadership in all matters related to company safety
▪ Reviewing statistics of work injuries and accidents that occur in the company
▪ Preparing the emergency plan, and train employees on it
▪ Review legal requirements and follow up on civil defense recommendations in line with
the new situation of the group
▪ Participating in the new projects and provide an appropriate HSE plan for each project.
▪ Develop the required hospital policies and procedures related to safety, hazardous materials, and
fire safety
▪ Conduct a periodic safety and environmental round in all hospital, collect data and improve
weaknesses
▪ Participate in the preparation of disaster plan and organize testing of the plan on periodic basis
▪ Conduct periodic HSE training for all hospital staff
▪ Conduct risk assessment activities and develop and implement improvements
▪ Monitor the hospital projects involving construction and renovation and prepare specific
checklists to ensure safety of the patients, staff, construction workers and hospital visitors
▪ Follow up the implementation of all policies and procedures in the department and that
achieve the goals and objectives of the hospital.
▪ Inspection and auditing of Vodafone and Etisalat sites (4G project)
▪ Inspection of the 4th network sites (Telecom Egypt) during establishment
▪ Perform incident investigation and incident reporting system
▪ Provide a periodic review of Risk assessment in the workplace
▪ Responsible for coordinating HSE requirements for all projects and subcontractors.
▪ Responsible for the network of hospital computers including servers
▪ Participate in the hospital network development
▪ Repair and maintenance of computers and printers
▪ Responsible for training civilian employees on the new military medical system.
