• Controls the procurement of raw materials, time scale identified in MRP.
• Checks the accuracy of orders before issuing to suppliers.
• Analyses firm customer requirements and produce a workable plan for his product.
• Determines the method of supply, based on demand, stock available, and production requirement as well as supplier delivery performance. And allocate relevant special costs (if needed) accordingly.

• Responsible for meeting the customers' build schedule.
• Monitor supplier (s) 's delivery shortfalls and take necessary actions to resolve.
• Detailed comparison of previous schedule quantities.
• Understand the impact to the business of schedule fluctuations and the knock on effect in terms of material coverage.
• Run in Run out changes are to be controlled ensuring the customer is fully aware of potential liability being incurred.
• Ensure that all liability information is collated and made available for claim in proper time.
• Develop and implement plans continuously to ensure that all operations are running smoothly.
