•Review Contractor’s submittals (QS take-off sheets, inspection requests and material inspection requests).
•Prepare take-off sheets for design drawings.
•Administer the contract with the client during the post-contract stage (FIDIC 99 / 2017 Red book).
•Report monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs.
•Monitor project budgets and update them as required to obtain management approval.
•Variation order management including assessment, valuation, and agreeing on amounts with Contractors.
•Review Contractors’, suppliers’ & supervision consultants’ payments applications and valuation of variations in the work during the contract for the recommendation of interim payments and the final account.
•Liaise with the client and the contractor on commercial issues, including agreement of variations, claims, and additional payments.
•Working on Value Engineering studies and estimating the cost impact of it.
•Contact the suppliers to provide quotations for required work.
•Prepare take-off sheets for design drawings.
•Assist in reporting changes to budget due to proposed design changes.
•Assist in preparing tender documents; budgets, and bills of quantities.
•Evaluate tenders from contractors and, where appropriate, negotiate with the contractors.
•Measure and value the work done on-site.
•Assist in reviewing Contractor’s payment application and provide payment valuation recommendation.
•Assist in variation order management.
