Structural Design: Developed structural detailed design, overseeing the production of structural document,
performed calculations, force analysis and modeling for multi-level steel braced frame buildings, foundations,
concrete and steel piles, pile caps, pipe supports, and platforms. Used STAAD Pro. 2008 V8i, Bentley Smart Plant
Review 3D, and MathCAD 14 professional software
Fabrication: Structural representative at MLMR Mod Yard and fabricator office for 10 month, coordinated and
reviewed over 5000 shop drawings including connection calculations, DCNs, RFIs, NCRs'
Site Construction: Site Structural Lead as part of MLMR and AMR team engineering for 22 month provided
construction support, resolved RFIs, NCRs, DCNs and SDRs issues, conducted field review as part of quality
assurance and quality control, witnessed piles installation, concrete pour and steel structure assembly, reviewed
construction work packages (CWPs)
Commissioning: participated on completion walk down and final inspection for turnover facilities to owner,
created check lists, resolved punch list issues, reviewed turnover binders including ITPs, As-build, material data
sheets, material testing, closed RFIs and closed NCRs.
Operation Support: resolved operation punch list issues, signed ABC schedule (A2, B1, B2, C2) to obtain building
permits from Alberta government
Design Codes & Standards: Used steel and concrete Canadian handbooks, design codes, and standards (AISC, ACI,
AWS, ASTM, IBC, and PIP) as well as National Building Code of Canada (NBC) 2005
