Saudi Electricity Company - SEC - Construction of new indoor type 380/132/33/13.8 KV GIS BSP named as NEW NORTH EAST 380/132/33/13.8
KV BSP # 9053 (RIYADH METRO PROJECT).One & half breaker include consist of 9 Dia.
Up to now 97% of the project done and I have maintained the project on going with Zero accidents and as per milestone dates.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
2.Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents, Submittals / approvals with clients and consultants.
3.Review and comment on project schedules.
4.Compliance with procedures, legal management and safety coordination with site management.
5.Track the clients invoice according to the work completion and submit for payment.
6.Complete track of site activities, identifying critical points and attend client /consultants meetings and solve points for closure.
7. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
8.Ensures work performed is in compliance with SEC requirements.
9. Identify, resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
10.Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
11.Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
12.Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, presentations to the higher management and clients.
13.Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and troubleshoot problem areas.
14.Track project milestones and deliverables.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and reporting authority.
15.Coordinate with subcontractors and all the suppliers for appropriate delivery of materials keeping the view not to delay project.

Tasks included:
Leading a team of 25+ Engineers and Inspectors for looking after the work
carried out for 9029 substation 380 KV including 380 KV 1&1/2 Dia, 132 KV
GIS Double Bus Bar.
•Reviewing the technical proposal provided by the contractors for projects and
sending respective technical department in Saudi Electricity Company- SEC for
approval and supervision of construction at site.
•Reviewing the actual progress at Site for construction of substation for timely completion of the projects.
•Track project milestones and deliverables.
Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA-Sudan) : During this period I have prepared policies, studies and procedures governing the work of electricity companies and auditing the performance of companies through unplanned visits, resulting in improved performance by more than 45%. Further more I have Increased the training programs for my teamwork by 60%.
Tasks included:
Planning and promotion of Smart Grid initiatives, Smart metering projects, and Energy Efficiency in coordination with power sector companies and all other stakeholders.
•Preparing policies, reviewing procedures, and evaluating performance of Electric Grid Control in terms of (optimum operation, redundancy, and control system security).
•Prepare commissioning and commissioning witnessing plan for substations with
different voltage levels.
•Review and setting of technical codes & standards that ensure efficient regulation of the power sector in Sudan.
•Participating with other departments in Compliance Assurance Monitoring, tariff setting, an conduct of technical studies.
•Reviewing the technical specification of the new projects according to IEC and NEC standards.
reduced the time taken to identify and repair the electrical fault from 15 Hrs. to 3
hours only by setting up a center to receive complaints from customers and
consumers, Further more I have established system to Connect the all servers of
generation, transmission and distribution companies to the main control center
server, thus facilitating the process of forecasting the annual amount of energy
required due to the availability of more accurate information.Tasks included:

Project Manage - (NEC)
National Electricity Corporation of Sudan(NEC) Project named (Khartoum
SCADA System and Automatic Control and Distribution Control Center. The
project is consist of 42 S/S ( phase 1&2).
• This project done by Microsol company from Ireland - Dublin with NEC
The implementation of this project facilitated the process of identifying,
monitoring and analyzing the faults instantly, which helped stabilize the supply
of electricity to consumers and address the faults in the shortest time.

Studying the conditions of the network and programming the segments and
convergence of the forecast ratio with the real reality Tasks included:

Implementing all the scope of work + applying safety rules+ witness the F.A.T &
testing commissioning and Supervising.

Preparation of estimates for all electrical aspects of the projects including costs
and time schedule for work, progress reports as required. Supervising
teamwork and coordinating with engineers
